We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, Distributor Markets to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in our geographic expansion plans in APAC. This role will be based in Singapore.
Position Overview
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be responsible for the P&L for certain Distributor markets, working with regional and corporate finance leadership, alongside cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja APAC Distributor Markets General Manager, sales, marketing, and operations organization, on all aspects of the P&L including in-depth margin & go-to market analysis, monthly accounting close process, and forecasting across P&L and Cash. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and accountable to the Distributor Markets General Manager, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success.
Here are some of the exciting things you will get to do:
Financial Forecasting & Planning
- Partner with multi-functional teams to create an efficient monthly forecast process across entire P&L.
- Partner with regional controller team for timely month-end closing process.
- Lead monthly actuals reviews & forecast proposals with General Manager.
Commercial Business Partnering
- Lead finance workstreams for geographic expansion: portfolio analysis, pricing and gross margin analysis.
- Partner with General Manager to build reports & dashboards to facilitate effective monthly business reviews, providing a holistic view of the business.
- Partner with Multi-functional teams to streamline operational & financial processes such as P2P, Accrual and regular budget review processes.
Cash Flow Management
- Utilize P&L Forecast for basic Cash flow forecast, working with regional treasury team to ensure sufficient cash flow.
Strategic Initiatives
- Represent the finance team in key projects, such as IT systems interventions.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Experience in partnering with the business in driving growth plans, managing forecasts, anticipating and managing risks and opportunities.
- Previous experience with budgeting & forecasting, full P&L analysis & reconciliation.
- Strong self-leadership & self-management. Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. Able to learn quickly & increase work independence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a fast-changing environment with multiple customers and evaluators
- Comfortable presenting to Leadership teams with strong financial acumen & business understanding.
- Ability to analyze large & complex data sets and translate into actionable information
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office / Power BI skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel.
- Candidates who already have the eligibility to work in Singapore will be given priority.
