Key responsibilities:

To ensure that all stages of food preparation are maintained to the highest standards ensuring the well-being of residents.
To ensure the cooking and serving of meals are in accordance with the menu, the Company requirements.

About you:

The successful Second Chef will have relevant experience within a catering environment. You will have a secure understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements, and be able to implement methods to ensure these needs are met. You will also have your Food Hygiene Level 2, and ideally an NVQ Level 2.

About you:

The successful Commissioning Home Manager will have experience of managing a luxury care home with a high percentage of privately funded residents. Knowledge in marketing a home to drive occupancy along with a successful track record of developing and motivating a team is essential. We require our Commissioning Home Manager to have a proven track record of achieving Good CQC reports. You should be NVQ Level 5 qualified or working towards it, and have experience in person-centered care planning and caring for individuals with dementia. We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager who will join our team, we are looking for someone that is confident enough to make autonomous decisions and able to demonstrate true commitment both to your own personal development and to that of the team.

Job responsibilities:

To take responsibility for and effectively supervise the day-to-day running of the home in the absence of the Manager.
To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our residents
To implement the requirements of the recognised fundamental standards for Care Homes for Older People, published in accordance with the Care Home Act 2008 and 2014 and ensure that all outcomes are met.

As a Care Team Leader with Sanders Senior Living, professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Your role will entail planning and implementing the kind of care that will give our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.

You will get to know our residents and their families – helping to ensure that truly personalised care is delivered.

Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will have a really, positive influence on the team and be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care. One of your key responsibilities will be to maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with effective communication with your fellow colleagues.

Your role as a Care Team Leader will also see you assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager too. You will be involved in providing essential physical and mental care as part of Sanders Senior Living’s whole-team approach to wellbeing, as well as administering medication and carrying out medication audits.

Ideally, you will have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. You will also have a background in leading a team to deliver care. What is essential is a brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with others. You will know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively. Furthermore, whenever you communicate with others, whether it be a resident or co-worker, you will be truly considerate and kind.


Experience / Qualification:

Experience preferred though not essential as full training will be provided.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred or a willingness to achieve this.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

The Runwood Group is one of the UK’s largest residential elderly care providers recently placed in the top 20 care home groups in the uk. The Group operates 76 homes in England and Northern Ireland under three brands, Runwood Senior Living, Sanders Senior Living and Kathryn Homes (Northern Ireland only).

Historically a local authority focused estate, our ambition is to transition towards a stronger private pay mix, developing our current estate and adding new homes to help achieve this.

We currently have an opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing team as a Customer Relations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving their allocated homes private occupancy. Your base site may change from time to time based on occupancy demands.

Your role will include the following:

Overall responsibility for the sale of self-funding beds to ensure occupancy targets are achieved within the home
To ensure the experience of self-funding clients and their families is of the highest quality and seamless move-ins are achieved on date
To work with the marketing team and ensure a key marketing strategy is devised and implemented based on the individual service and geography
To create community engagement within the home through local schools, businesses, charities and other organisations
To promote Carehome.co.uk and Google reviews within the home, to maintain the profiles and to contact families and friends directly to encourage reviews
To lead on key regular marketing events within the home and promote this on social and local media
To ensure all associated administration duties are carried out effectively and in a timely manner
To record and account for all petty cash expenditure
The role will include some travel

We are seeking an individual that has a passion for cleanliness, a keen eye for detail and a natural leader.

Job Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the home.
To ensure that the Home is kept clean by a well-organised team of domestic cleaners and that laundry arrangements are satisfactory.
To organise the cleaning and laundry rota in liaison with the Home Manager/Hospitality Manager
Supervise the work done by the team of domestic and laundry staff.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Extensive experience of housekeeping services
Understanding of the COSHH regulations
Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
Previous experience of working with Risk Assessment information
Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved or working towards)
