Working as one of our Senior Data Scientist at Saga, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and driving the development of advanced analytics solutions. Our Senior Data Scientist will be fully accountable for the following areas;

• Advanced Analytics & Modelling: Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems. Drive the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge data science techniques and technologies.
• Insights and Reporting: Extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets to guide business decision-making.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to understand data science requirements and integrate data science solutions into existing workflows & applications. Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical counterparts.
• Data Strategy and Model Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the company's data strategy. Ensure models are fair, explainable and in compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Project Management – Manage and deliver projects on time, to high standards.
• Agile ways of working - Demonstrate experience in working in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Continuous learning - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and machine learning. Bring the most relevant ones back to SAGA and find ways to implement them to unlock business value.

Working as a Senior Data Scientist at Saga, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Previously worked in a data science role for a large data rich organisation, with a track record of independent project delivery.
• Can demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R. SQL also necessary to leverage old code base.
• Be seen as an expert in machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
• A curious nature, with the drive to learn and master new tech and methods.

Desirable;

• Previously worked in an agile working environment, with a focus on iterative and collaborative project delivery.
• Have worked with data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau.
• Experience in model monitoring. (MLOPS experience would be desirable.)
• Have gained a master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics or related disciplines.

CRM Executive

Salary £28,000

FT 35 hours per week

Hybrid - Travel to the London or Ashford Office at least once per month

Here at Saga, we are seeking a CRM Executive. The role of the CRM Executive will play a key part in shaping the CRM Strategy for the Insurance division using data and insight to its fullest. Working closely with the CRM Data Planner you will help drive data led decision making, suggesting ideas and improvements to our marketing strategies to inform the Marketing creative teams.

As an experienced CRM tool user, you will build and execute multi-channel integrated campaigns, using a combination of SMS, DM, Outbound and Email deliveries, utilising dynamic content and automation where possible to deliver exceptional messages to our customers. You will work closely with digital teams to ensure we have an integrated, multi-channel approach to our campaigns, sending the right message, to the right customer, at the right time and in the right channel.

You will have access to a suite of Adobe tools – Adobe Campaign, Target and Analytics, that you will be able to use to your best advantage to deliver inspiring and relevant content. Collaboration with multiple teams, including Data Science, Marketing Creative and Email developers will be essential, and you will proactively push ideas forwards and own campaigns across customer touchpoints from inception to delivery.

Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to this role, with all correct sign off procedures followed. A good knowledge of data protection and GDPR legislation would be advantageous.

This role is multi-faceted and fast-paced where you will work on multiple initiatives at once. There will be elements of data management, working alongside our Group Data team to ensure any data inaccuracies are identified and fixed as soon as possible. You will also work on key projects where you will provide your knowledge and expertise to drive business change.

Working alongside the CRM Data Planner, you will guarantee that activity is fully trackable; reviewing and analysing weekly campaign performance to proactively evolve campaigns based on testing strategies, performance indicators and audience insight to ensure we're getting the most out of our databases at every opportunity.

This position reports to the CRM Manager but will be required to work collaboratively with the CRM Data Planner and CRM Technical Specialists.

The position is predominantly remote working, but you would be required to attend monthly face-to-face collaboration sessions in the London or Ashford offices.

• Using data and insight to initiate and progress advanced CRM journeys

• Help to shape the CRM action plan and work with the team to plan and execute campaigns that deliver performance improvements.

• Fully utilise the tools and data available to design and deliver omni-channel campaigns covering all areas of communications- new customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, advocacy and win-back, creating multi-channel executions, whilst delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.

• Analysis, segmentation and targeting of customers within internal database

• Planning, creating and executing multi-channel, automated campaigns, including email, postal, SMS and outbound. Covering all CRM aspects of the campaign, from data brief to post campaign reporting where required

• Execution of multi-campaign testing programmes within campaign builds

• Ensuring activity is trackable for all required metrics within CRM remit and proactively suggest areas of improvement using a test and learn framework.

• Working closely with the Group Data team to ensure any requests for data or data issues are provided/resolved in a timely manner

• Promote excellence and best practice in CRM and the use of Adobe, driving a CRM culture across the business

• Collaborate with wider business teams to deliver cross division projects

• Responsible for demonstrating an understanding of regulatory risk across Marketing and customer touchpoints including working knowledge of the latest FCA guidance

• To be a positive, proactive member team

• Ideally 2+ years of CRM experience incorporating integrated campaign delivery across multiple touchpoints, customer journey development, automation, multi-channel workflows and dynamic content delivery
• Educated to A level preferred, but experience is key

Our Digital Executives are responsible for the following tasks:

• Be responsible for maintaining and updating the personal finance website using our CMS (Content Management System – Sitecore).
• Use digital tools including SEMRush, Decibel and Adobe Target to identify and implement website improvements through a shared CRO plan.
• Work alongside the Digital Lead using tools such as Siteimprove, and alongside supporting agencies, on content curation with a focus on SEO across all personal finance products.

As our Home Product Executives, you will work with the Home Product Lead and wider Product Team to manage and develop market-leading insurance products incorporating key Consumer Duty principles.

As our Third Party Claims Customer Experience Executive you will work within the Commercial team driving continuous improvement of customer outcome at claims stage, both cross-functionally and with underwriters.

You will ensure customers consistently receive the best outcome when making a claim. You will start by drawing claims customer experience best-practice and poor outcome trends from existing reporting and complement this view with feedback from colleagues and customers through call listening and verbatim comments. As our Third Party Claims Customer Experience Executive, you will focus on the claims journey, accessing, gathering and analysing relevant customer satisfaction scores and data.

Your accountabilities will include;

• Fostering a cross-functional dialogue and attending relevant internal meetings and forums to complement the analytical view
• Drawing and presenting on customer experience trends, reporting on customer feedback and developing action plans to drive improved performance
• Working with assigned underwriters in the execution of action plans
• Working alongside product, operations and marketing teams to suggest the necessary amendments to the products to improve customer outcome at claims stage
• Facilitating the tactical resolution of individual pain points through reviewing claims hot alerts and collaborating with CRD, underwriters and the claims support team on individual customer complaints
• Periodically reviewing the claims journey by underwriter, , to keep customer experience as consistent as possible
• Maintaining regular dialogue with each assigned underwriter to keep pace on all customer outcome discussions
• Providing and / or supporting with customer outcome training to relevant partners’ teams, in line with identified gaps and pain points
• Contributing to our Regulatory agenda through relevant regular risk assessment analysis
• Assisting the operational due diligence process when on-boarding new partners, and supporting audits for selected underwriters and partners
• Maintaining an understanding of industry trends and best practices in claims customer experience
• Being a key player in ensuring that Saga’s customer-centric approach is embedded within the claims operations teams of our underwriters

As our Third Party Claims Customer Experience executive, we require you to bring a strong knowledge of the general insurance market with a particular focus on the claims. This would include products, best practice, and regulatory requirements.

Home Commercial Executive

Salary – Up to £33,000 dependent on experience

As our Home Commercial Executive, you will work with internal departments and act as the face of Saga to build collaborative and effective relationships with our Home Panel Insurers and third-party suppliers.

You will also contribute to customer complaint resolutions, update regulatory and risk reports, implement commercial developments, and manage our compliance and risk processes to ensure our customers are treated fairly.

As our Home Commercial Executive, you will work closely with the Home Panel Manager and Lead to manage Net pricing through Panel Insurer Management.

Your accountabilities will include:

• Analyse data to uncover key drivers which could lead to improved Net rate pricing.
• Assist in the production and issuing of Panel meeting packs including: essential MI; agendas; meeting notes within SLA’s.
• Management of competitor and industry research and analysis, including the maintaining of price competitiveness consistent with the Saga brand through market comparisons and actuarial liaison.
• Work with the Product Development team to manage and develop market-leading insurance products incorporating regulatory principles.
• Supplier relations - management of supplier related issues and delivery of projects.
• Issue essential MI in a timely manner within SLA’s.
• Involvement in all areas of product management & product development.
• Project management, with a particular focus on cross-functional team working.
• Deliver product development and enhancements to business plan, and update regulatory reports.
• Help to manage customer retention, highlighting areas to be improved and delivering process and document changes.
• Delivery of accurate and up to date insurance and product documentation.
• Technical and management input into complaints handling, including intervention where necessary to ensure the fair and effective resolution of customer disputes.
• Work within commercial relationships with suppliers and Conduct Risk to ensure adherence to FCA guidelines.
• Work closely with internal and external departments, including Underwriting, Actuarial, Customer Relations, Marketing, Finance and IOS teams.
• Work with the PR team to push product highlights & benefits into the public eye whenever possible.

As our Home Commercial Executive, we require you to have general knowledge of the insurance market with a particular focus on home. This would include product development, best practice, and regulatory requirements.
