The role – Compliance Support Officer
As Compliance Support Officer you will be experienced in providing a high-quality compliance service whilst adhering to administrative and customer service processes. You will support the Contract Manager to monitor and manage the delivery of our asset compliance services, to ensure that all statutory compliance obligations and requirements across the Organisation are met and consistent with up-to-date legislation, health & safety, and best practice in relation to; regulatory servicing requirements, you will also contribute to customer safety, satisfaction, and value for money.
The successful candidate will work effectively with key internal colleagues and external partners and stakeholders to ensure they contribute to enabling the Organisation to fulfil all of its statutory and regulatory obligations.
What you’ll do
Support the Contracts Manager in managing the relevant servicing programme within the compliance areas (Fire, Electrical, Lifts, Legionella, Gas, Asbestos)
Manage access into customers’ homes.
Liaise with residents & staff to book in repairs and servicing visits.
First point of contact with staff and Residents for escalations
Monitor all work in progress and moving incomplete work through to completion.
Ensuring all required parts are ordered and booked to minimise delay to Residents.
Take responsibility for providing a comprehensive administration service to the Contract Manager
Ensure consistent and accurate information, and documents are recorded.
Help develop, implement, and monitor administrative processes to support efficient and quality service delivery.
Produce minutes from meetings.
What you’ll need
Experience of working within a compliance function within housing, preferably asbestos and water hygiene.
Experience of working to deadlines and targets
Ability to raise purchase/works orders promptly and accurately to enable works to be carried out and budgets to be monitored.
Technically proficient in Microsoft word and Excel and formulas
Customer service experience
Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, Residents, and staff across different functions
Ability to produce minutes from meetings.
Ability to organise workload effectively and able to methodically work on own initiative.
Interpersonal skills to liaise with residents and provide responses to complaints.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be highly organised, methodical, and analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
