About Our Opportunity
The Finance Business Partner will primarily partner our businesses Psicon (based in Canterbury) and Prescriba (Based in Copenhagen) with an initial focus on establishing an FP&A presence within Psicon. Vital to your success will be to engage their senior teams, to become an expert in how our businesses operates and their associated complexities.
You will introduce robust reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles, in line with those of Onebright, and work to deliver valuable insight and analysis, enabling decision making and supporting the business’ rapid growth agenda. Where appropriate, you will also work closely with the team on new business opportunities.
Reporting to the FP&A Lead, you will be an enthusiastic self-starter, comfortable with change and challenge, willing to ‘get your hands dirty’, and a thoughtful team player. This position is based in York, in a hybrid working model, and there will be some travel required to Copenhagen and Canterbury.
What we need from you
- An engaging and ambitious team player with a strong values set, an excellent work ethic and the ability to influence others
- Experience working in a rapidly changing environment
- Comfortable working autonomously, with a track record of delivering in challenging situations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop good relationships across the business
- Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 3+ years PQE and experience of budgeting, forecasting and KPI production
- Confident IT user with advanced Excel skills able to manage large and complex data sets and an ability to pick up new IT systems quickly
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to identify trends in data and share these with both financial and non-financial users
