1. Personal and Psychosocial Care

• Provides support to seniors in basic activities of daily living (BADL), including assistance with personal hygiene and transfer.

• Identify care needs of seniors such as dietic needs and other areas relating to well-being of elders.

2. Nursing Support

• Attend to basic nursing and general care needs of clients

• Monitor health status (vital signs, glucose level and oxygen saturation) and escalate to Centre Supervisors/ Nurse Manager.

• Perform tube feeding / Nasogastric tube (NGT) feeding for seniors

• Perform basic wound care

• Assist to serve medication/ pre-packed medication and apply prescribed topical medication as instructed by Supervisor/ Manager.

3. Rehab Care

• Assist Physiotherapist/ Occupational therapist in clients prescribed therapy.

• Assist to manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.

• Assist to restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, optimal wellness and fitness movement.

• Assist in client ambulation movement within the centre and during transferring to and from transport vehicle.

4. Senior Engagement

• Plan, and conduct activities suitable for seniors taking into consideration of their preferences and interests

• Observe senior’ engagement during sessions and feedback on senior’s response and progress.

• Work with the therapists on implementation of new activities

• Provide support and involve in the planning and coordination of Active Ageing Programmes.

5. Administration and Operations

• Always ensure environmental safety and hygiene of the centre including carrying out the necessary cleaning and disinfection and looking out for hazards

• Able to do basic documentation of senior’s participation in various engagement activities.

Qualifications:

GCE 'N' Level and above

Therapist assistant cert would be an added advantage

• Keeping track and settlement of advance money given to staff
• Receive walk in donors, collect money and issue receipts.
• Assist finance officer and act as a backup for:
  > Manage GIRO applications, submission and returns.
  > Supervise the receipts issuance by other department staff.
  > Collect and safe keep cash and cheques from various parties and depositing into bank.
  > Handle petty cash
  > Prepare payment vouchers and cheques.
  > Receive donations and prepare commission payment to Telemarketer, Fundraiser

JOB DESCRIPTION

I. Finance

• Keying in of donation transactions into donation software, issuance of donation receipts and thank you letters to donors
• Prepare month-end closing statement for income
• Maintain petty cash
• Settle invoices from vendors and other claims
• Prepare Profit and Loss Statement for fund raising events/projects
• Balancing of Tax-Deductible Receipts at end of month and submission to IRAS via My Tax Portal

II. Support to Fundraising

• Data mining and data selection for fundraising campaigns
• Research for new donors and supporters (corporate and individuals)
• Support logistical work such as procuring and maintaining envelope inventory, mass mailing, getting quotations for services or products
• Maintain good relations with existing donors and supporters of the Home

III. Others

• Maintain donors in kind database and filings (inventories, invoices, memos and forms)
• Assist in handling of donation in kind such as food / groceries and attending to the visits of donors
• Assist in maintaining storeroom for groceries
• Assist in food coordination for Residents ( if need arises ) and staff meetings/management committee meetings (liaise with caterers)
• Assist in preparing and pack groceries for Residents' home leave if any (includes monthly groceries for needy ex-Residents and their families)
• Assist in arranging deliveries or collection of items (to and from donors, partners etc)

REQUIREMENTS:

5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform communication strategies and decision-making.
6. Experience with media relations is an advantage, including pitching stories, managing press inquiries, and coordinating media events.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide administrative support to MHCC’s operations and submissions of claims to MOH/ILTC.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Manage clients’ Eldercare system which includes fees assignment, appointment schedule, attendance and clients’ billing.
• Submit Subvention claims to MOH/ILTC for attendance and billing.
• Perform monthly banking and receipts summary reports for DBS and UOB.
• Prepare transportation routes with vendor.
• Update changes to clients’ fees, NMTS, services and mailing out correspondences.
• Maintain petty cash float and process all petty cash claims.
• Prepare and follow up on all payment vouchers to vendors and finance department.
• Liaise with new clients for registration and admission.
• Assist Centre Manager/Assistant Centre Manager on all audit processes.
• Monitor and disseminate messages from office mobile phone to respective officers.
• Handle general enquiries pertaining to client fees, transportation, and visitation days.
