As our Frontend Developer Intern, you will be involved in developing responsive web applications for the Ship-In-Port Platform. Your familiarity in product design will help a good deal to be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design. You will gain insights into the business needs of maritime startups and the demands of maritime stakeholders to improve web design and applications.

Responsibilities:

As our Web Designer Intern, you will be learning and working closely with the maritime stakeholders (product owner) and frontend developer(s) to create refreshingly professional and user-friendly web & mobile user interfaces for our products. This will enable you to develop an understanding of the needs of different maritime stakeholders and learn about the latest trends in the maritime startup and tech ecosystems.

• To design and create web pages, icons, logos, etc for our digital platform

Job Description:

You will undergo on-the-job training to familiarise with our product and be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and success of our customers by providing exceptional support and service. A shipping operation experience will be advantageous but not a prerequisite.

As a primary point of contact for our Japanese customers’ operations, you will work closely with them to understand their adoption pains, and to ease them in recurring usage as soon as possible.
