The Regional Assistant Retail Education Manager plays a key role in driving and animating the Makeup category, digital and client experience education strategy in Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TR APAC). As the subject matter expert in Makeup, you will be an integral part of the regional training team to adapt and create content for estimate population of 700 Beauty Consultants across 250 doors in the APAC region. You will lead the Makeup specialist development plan and build a community of passionate Dior Color Stylists and Makeup Artists.
With responsibility to support transversal projects within digital learning, you will manage makeup e-modules and drive BC engagement within this digital learning community. Together with the education and marketing team, you will collaborate to organize events such as BC seminars, Train-the-Trainers (TTT) and other engagement activities.
Reporting to the Regional Senior Retail Education Manager, you will also work closely with the Training Managers to support their training content needs, and with the Regional Marketing team to refine retail tools, services and exciting experiences for our customers.
YOUR MISSION _________
MAKEUP CATEGORY TRAINING
- Be the voice of Travel Retail APAC for Makeup Education
- Adapt and transmit centrally-created Makeup training modules and tools for TR APAC, collaborating with Regional Makeup Marketing and each market’s Training Managers (TM) on needs and strategy.
- Deliver Train-the-trainer to TMs on key makeup modules including novelties, integration, professionalization, and specialization level.
- Closely follow global and regional Makeup trends, transmitting them to the field team through creation of digital content and videos.
- Work closely with the Digital Training project team to digitalize makeup modules.
- Together with the Regional Training team, produce Generic Staff 3-axis training modules and tools.
- Work with vendors to translate and proof-read Makeup training content developed by Central and/or Regional.
- Collect feedback to continuously improve quality of materials to address the markets’ needs, provide advice for category and trade marketing and business development teams on services.
- Plan Makeup learning calendar and maintain Makeup modules library, ensuring that all content is available in a timely manner to support launch calendar and Makeup curriculum.
- Adapt Makeup services according to the region’s needs and implement in timely manner (with launches, new openings etc.)
MAKEUP SPECIALISTS’ DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
- Plan and rollout yearly Makeup Specialist certifications with every market.
- Build field team’s passion in Makeup, identify and develop Makeup Specialists (Color Stylists & Makeup Artists).
- Build field team’s makeup expertise, makeup demonstration and application, and selling skills through seminars/ webinars, digital and/or physical.
- Maintain frequent communication with Makeup community via the digital training app, share relevant retail information and social media buzz updates.
- Work closely with markets to consolidate and share key insights on Chinese and Local consumer trends and selling approach.
- Forecasting of grooming products and gifts for Makeup specialists & BCs and ensure timely order for on-counter date.
- Support the Senior Retail Education Manager with budget updates on tools, grooming and gifting expenses.
MAKEUP SERVICES AND TOOLS
- Lead the implementation of Makeup services, adapted to the format of market’s needs, from on-counter to animations/VIP events.
- Ensure a consistent standard of makeup service excellence across key boutiques, with expert consultations, artistry skills and cross-selling capabilities.
- Train-the-trainer on Makeup Retail tools (Lip Tool etc.) and Makeup services (consultation, pampering, masterclasses).
- Responsible for the update of Makeup Retail Tools for the POS
- Collect feedback and provide advice for makeup category marketing and business development teams on retail tools and services.
PLAN MAKEUP LEARNING CALENDAR AND MAINTAIN MAKEUP MODULES LIBRARY
- Provide a clear roadmap of the learning support provided and required from various stakeholders.
- To download the centrally-created modules into the regional SharePoint folders, releasing the adapted content in a timely manner to ensure ample support for launches, and maintaining an organized library of modules for trainers.
BC SEMINAR / SPECIALIST SEMINAR / GOLDEN STAR NOMINEES
- Be a key member of the organizing committee of regional key events.
- Design, plan and organize the workshops and activities for makeup category.
- Collaborate with forecast team to ensure the supply of gifts and product testers.
- Where needed, to support the project manager of the Seminar/Event.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
- Create, Manage and Monitor all Training Packages on InDior App for all categories (Forecasting Tool)
- Collaborate with Regional and Market Trainers on each FM Run to forecast quantity allocation for training gifts, grooming kit, uniforms and couture gifts.
- Track market consumption as per forecast to ensure minimal wastage.
- Liase with supply team on item availability and cascade info to market to ensure timely delivery.
- Support in uniform & grooming plan.
- Support in the financial processing of quotations, POs, invoices and updating of budget expenses.
