We are seeking an individual with tenured commissioning experience in complex technology facilities for the position of Commissioning Manager (CX Mgr.) at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore (Fortis). The CX Mgr. is responsible for implementation, monitoring, deployment and conformance to Fortis’ commissioning program guidelines and supporting processes/procedures throughout the organization. The candidate will work directly with Fortis senior management, our trade partners, equipment vendors, owner, and third party CX consultants.

Reporting to senior management on a specific site, the CX Mgr. will be accountable for implementing and successful execution of Fortis’ corporate commissioning program. The CX Mgr. is the direct supervisor for all commissioning activities on a large seven-year project.

It is expected the CX Mgr. will be a very detailed individual with extensive experience commissioning large complex projects such as industrial plants, data centers and pharmaceutical plants. We are seeking an individual with experience in the construction and/or operations of technology facilities for the Equipment Asset Coordinator (EAC) position. The EAC will be responsible for collecting asset information on various equipment throughout the building, which will be stored in an electronic database, to assist the owner in developing a maintenance plan for the building.

The EAC, reporting to the Quality Manager, will be accountable for completing and accurately reporting the equipment asset information.

Responsibilities Specific to the Role:

• Integrate and work as part of a true “One Team” approach on the project, working closely with Fortis co-workers, subcontractors, the owner, and third-party Quality Control (QA/QC) and Commissioning (CX) teams.
• Review the design drawings to identify all equipment in designated areas that need to be catalogued in the database.
• Conduct field walks of the construction site to assign asset tags and collect information on various building equipment, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and other specified equipment.
• All asset information will be recorded electronically on a tablet and uploaded to the database for review and audit.
• Coordinate with various equipment manufacturers and sub-contractors to provide the required information for each asset
• Take photographs of equipment nameplate data and store them in the database.
• Identify any discrepancies between equipment data based on what is installed on-site and report to the QA/QC Manager

• Work closely with the Construction Managers to lead logistics of all installed Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) works
• Working knowledge of structural systems and how precast, in-situ and structural steel are sequenced in a high-rise construction project
• Log and post all Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) changes and as-built information on field drawings. Provide such information to the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team so such information can be incorporated into the final virtual model
• Ensure all information is current and communicated with the project team
• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client-provided equipment
• Liaise with the Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) engineering consultant, supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff
• Produce weekly cloud-based QA/QC check for the Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) scope of work
• Ensure that Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Subcontractors adhere to relevant quality documentation/records
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) equipment. (Dock Levelers, Lifts etc.)

We seek an individual with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing technical experience for the position of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Site Supervisor at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the construction managers and the subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the largest multistory data centre in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to a construction manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating site-related works with the MEP Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to a Construction Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing work on-site 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented and have previous experience working as a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing site supervisor on data centre projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating with contractors in the field while installing all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, and subcontractors of all tiers and vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

• Takes a lead in preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations as requested and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules. 
• Integrates inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialities. 
• Review and assess the work sequences with the total project plan. 
• Establishes and implements methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialities. 
• Reviews and approves invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules, as required. 
• Determines critical-path activities for assigned disciplines or specialties, identifies significant activities supporting inter-disciplinary requirements, and identifies critical paths for discipline or specialty work activities.
• Identifies, analyses and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations. 
• Develops and writes the schedule commentary in the monthly progress and similar reports. Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule. 
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate under the direction of the Lead Planner-Scheduler.
