Job Description
We’re looking for a highly motivated and creative Content Producer to join our expanding Evo Commerce team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end content strategy, development and execution. You will play the role of a strategist, creative and producer, as you conceptualise and produce content assets that are buzz-worthy and resonate with viewers across earned, owned and paid platforms, with the aim of driving business goals.
- Content Strategy, Ideation & Development - Work with brand managers to develop content, storylines targeted to drive traffic, engagement, generating conversions, retaining customers and building brand awareness. This includes ideation, scripting/storyboarding, and hands-on end-to-end video production (pre-production to post-production). This contributes to at least 80% of your key tasks.
- (Optional) Social Media host - Front the camera, Host and lead video content, showcasing your charisma and storytelling ability on camera around personal care. Create engaging and informative content (written, visual, and video) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Internal & External Collaboration - Working with internal and external parties to deliver content assets that are coherent with our brand voice and strategy. You’ll need to be resourceful in identifying and liaising with suitable content creators, talents and other relevant partners to be featured in our social media content. With the support of the creative team, you’ll manage the post-production video editing to deliver finalised content on a regular basis.
- Content Optimisation & Budget Planning - Researching best practices from other brands that have launched similar campaigns and finding inspiration to continuously build evergreen and seasonal campaigns. Have the ability to track content performance (ie. boosting best performing content) and manage production budgets on a regular basis to ensure earned media value is maximised through these investments.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a content creator on platforms like Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. (Experience in consumer goods with beauty/lifestyle brands or creative/influencer agencies is a plus!)
- Experience with pre-production planning, video shoot and simple video editing
- Creative in nature, generating ideas, concepts and video narratives. Required to flesh out video scripts, storyboards and interview questions
- Savvy with major social media channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube (in order of priority)
- Great people skills, thrives and innovates under challenging deadlines, especially in a startup environment
- Have good communication skills (English), both written and verbal
- Bilingual is a plus (Mandarin & Chinese), written and visual communication
- Be truly collaborative and resourceful, able to work with internal and external stakeholders (physical or with remote teams) and work independently to source all content requirements
