About the role
The Head of Employment Law, Asia will have responsibility for the following activities:

Reporting to the Legal Director, Global Employment Law and working with members of the wider global Employment Law Team (“ELT”) to support on global employment law projects, including re-organisations and other cross border projects, as well as the production and maintenance of template and precedent documents for use across Dyson’s business globally; Delivery of day-to-day employment law advice relating to Dyson’s employees across Asia (including South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines), China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea and ANZ); Developing the position of the employment law function within the Asia region acting as a strategic business partner and adviser, building engagement with the HR leadership team and business leaders; Providing expert, ethical and pragmatic advice on a range of complex employment law and employee relations matters; Assisting with the design, delivery and implementation of strategic projects and tech solutions aimed at streamlining and improving the way employment law services are provided to Dyson’s global business; Managing external counsel where appropriate, ensuring compliance with Dyson’s panel and cost management processes; Managing the Employment Law Team’s monthly reporting and help to use data to identify trends; Proactively identifying emerging legal risk areas and working with stakeholders across Dyson Legal and the business to implement innovative strategies to mitigate those risks; Collaborating with other members of Dyson Legal in the provision of legal services to the business, including working with colleagues globally on multi-jurisdictional projects; Facilitating the delivery of employment law training to HR and managers; and The role would support the Legal Director, Global Employment Law with the management of the ELT and would have one direct report.

About you
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of employment law experience, prior in-house experience is strongly preferred.

About the Role

Reporting to the Global Revenue Optimization Lead, the Global Revenue Optimization Manager will lead our Brand Building Investments (BBI), while identifying growth opportunities. This role will focus on establishing governance, refining processes, and enhancing performance across global Regions and Markets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Categories, Finance, Demand & Sales Planning, and Revenue Performance teams to drive effective brand investment strategies, ensuring revenue is optimized and business targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Manager to drive global revenue insights for Home or Audio and New Category, as well as Revenue Performance for the Americas or EMEA region. This is a matrix role which will have global oversight of the Category performance, as well as regional depth of P&L optimisation. Reporting to the Global Demand Planning Senior Manager, this is a new role to drive unbiased demand led planning, bringing the outside in, to ensure high quality and accuracy in the Global Revenue organization’s planning efforts. As the Senior Insights Manager, you will be reporting to the VP Portfolio Planning and Business Operations, being accountable for understanding and embedding knowledge of the consumer in order to develop an impactful portfolio plan – alongside positioning Dyson technology in the right way. • In partnership with the Head of Portfolio – Robot, you will be responsible for the formation and articulation of the Robot strategy.
• Accountable for the Robot portfolio plan – covering the full lifecycle of what sits within the range. Owns the product attribute leadership strategy. Outlines price points, target launch dates, key product features and specification, claims intent, as well as initial proposition messaging.
• Collaborates across the BU and engineering teams to outline priorities and respond to project delivery risks.
• In partnership with Finance, owns and shapes all BU business case and investment recommendations related to the Robot category.​
• Owns the long-term volume forecasting for the Robot category within the Home BU​.
• A key interface with Upstream, providing market context, data and insight to shape internal Robot development activities. A strong link with the Competitor Team on this fast paced category is critical. A strong partner to downstream and operations in specifying the Home BU’s requirements for both internal and external development routes.
• Delivers a clear narrative on how to win within the Robot category, is responsible for Robot strategy – including insights commissioning, and translates this strategy into a deliverable plan in partnership with the Business Operations team.
• Provide key category strategy /product assessments for Head of Portfolio – Robot and the Home leadership to communicate upward to Exec and Board in relation to the Robot category.
• Representative for the Home BU in key forums such as Dyson Design Reviews (DDR’s) and financial reviews related to Robot, especially where product and category strategy is under review.
