Role: HR Advisor (Employee Relations)
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Join our team as an Employee Relations Advisor and play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment. You'll provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, and uphold our company's values.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex cases including disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, and TUPE.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Prepare and handle documentation for formal hearings and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
Support managers in performance reviews and improvement plans.
Offer guidance to employees on work-related and personal matters.
Mediate conflicts and investigate complaints to recommend solutions.
Enhance employee engagement and retention through events, surveys, and feedback.
Deliver training sessions to employees and managers on effective practices.
Qualifications that set you apart include:
CIPD Level 5 certificate
Proven experience in a generalist HR role
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, case law and HR best practice
Experience handling complex employee relations matters
Ability to deal with sensitive, pressurised, and volatile situations
