This role will provide on-site engineering services in support to the Project Manager and Supervisor to assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives. Key Accountabilities

In-conjunction with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor prepare daily programming of site works.
Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, statutory requirements and specifications.
Notify the Project Manager and Supervisor of any defects, contaminations or variations found, within a timely manner.
Assist with preparation of site construction reports as required by the Project Manager and General Manager/Construction Manager.
Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Project Manager.
Identify and assess project risks and report these to the Project Manager.

Key Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
Experience working on water and/or wastewater utilities infrastructure projects
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite
Ability to prepare, monitor and update short-term production bar charts.
Ability to produce SWMS.
Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreement pertaining to specific project.
Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes.

To be considered for this role, you MUST have extensive experience working on water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects in Australia, specifically shaft construction or microtunnelling.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the effective planning, implementation and management of daily site construction but not limited to Quality Control, Cost Control, scheduling and environmental and safety compliance. Key Accountabilities

Organisation and coordination of construction activities in accordance with construction schedules and programmes
Manage construction workers and subcontractors to ensure the programme, safety, environmental and quality requirements are adhered to at all times
Procurement and management of required plant, equipment and materials for allocated projects, ensuring they arrive in line with the programme
In conjunction with the Project Manager, coordinate all requirements for temporary works
Contribute to progress reports and relevant documentation to management and clients
Identify the need for and participate in the development and review of risk assessments and SWMS's

Key Requirements

Industry related trade qualification (cert III or above which is relevant to construstion, utilities infrastructure, tunnelling or building)
Construction general safety induction card
Demonstrated experience leading and managing safety and environment control
Basic knowledge of MS Office
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, layout plans and schematic drawings
Strong oral and written communication skills

This role will take ownership of all fire and emergency service delivery related tasks and issues across the administrative property portfolio, including liaison with suppliers and landlords. It is responsible for developing consistent standards and approaches for fire and emergency management across owned and leased sites. The role provides subject matter and technical expert advice, support and coordination in the management of fire and emergency services. Key Responsibilities

Provide coordination and management of scheduled and ad-hoc fire and emergency services, ensuring works are completed on time, within scope and on budget
Build strong delivery relationships and work closely with outsourced service providers, in order to manage the state-wide day-to-day delivery of: Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) program, provision of First Aid Warden services and training, evacuation services, coordination of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs)
Conduct regular site inspections to assess the asset condition, identify repairs, safety hazards and risks, support HSEQ aurdits, quality assess completed works, identify and scope future operational project requirements
Provide technical subject matter advice, guidance and support to local teams for fire and emergency planning
Schedule, support, monitor and review the conduct of fire and emergency exercise/drills across state-wide sites, working with key stakeholders and service providers to identify issues and facilitate decision making

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Building Operations, Facilities Management and/or related fire and emergency services trades.
Demonstrated experience in delivering fire and emergency services across large and complex Commercial and/or Industrial property portfolios.
Demonstrated knowledge of statutory legislation and obligations imposing or affecting operations and building services.
Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for essential services and safety, and knowledge of emergency procedures for low and high-rise buildings.

This Civil Contractor have had a lot of business growth recently, due to this, they are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Supervisor for their team to work on roads and bridges paint and blast projects across Greater Sydney. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage field staff to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with quality standards
Ensure subcontractors/suppliers conform to project requirements
Submit and maintain all completed site records
Participate in task planning and risk analysis, conduct regular audits and maintain quality standards
Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with plans and procedures

Key Requirements

Minimum 7 years experience supervisijg teams and managing complex paint and blast/remediation/waterproofing projects
NACE 2 certified
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with balsting and painting, and concrete rehabilitation works
Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes
Familiar with quality systems - progressing, ITP's, QA/QC liaison
