As a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR) (Title 32), GS-2185-10, you will instruct and perform flight crew work supporting heavy multi engine aircraft, and to provide assistance to the pilot in the overall operation of the aircraft. Primary aircraft UH 60A Black Hawk transport helicopter. The aircrafts missions include combat service support airlift for movement of heavy supplies, vehicles, aircraft and equipment, troop air assaults, extractions and resupply of troops, and aeromedical evacuations, search and rescue, ice break, mine sweep, and air support of national disasters and state contingencies.

• Knowledge of the full range of aircrew duties and responsibilities, methods of instruction and requirements of the program, performs standardization, currency, instrument, proficiency, tactical, emergency and special tasks evaluation flights.
• Assess newly assigned individuals' level of experience and training through review of training records and/or proficiency flight evaluation to determine proficiency and skill status.
• Provide training on in-flight planning and coordination responsibilities, operating principles and characteristics of major aircraft systems, aircraft parameters, operational/mission requirements, equipment systems operation/and troubleshooting, proper and correct methods of performing aircrew duties.
• Brief on mission equipment and use of life support equipment and safety emergency procedures.

• Determine and monitor factors and data affecting performance of aircraft, such as temperature, altitude, humidity, field conditions, configuration and weight of aircraft, on aircraft takeoff, flight and landing, and keeps pilot informed.

As a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (Title 32), WG-5378-8/10, you will perform duties involving the maintenance and repair of power ground and other support equipment used in aircraft servicing and repairs.

Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list:

• Troubleshoot deficiencies and repair flight critical equipment including lifting devices, turbine powered generators, towing devices and auxiliary power units.
• Repair of power ground and other support equipment used in aircraft servicing and repairs.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components related to electrical power production equipment and aircraft arresting systems.
• Trouble-shoot equipment and determine the extent of repairs as well as the parts required.
• Troubleshoot, tune-up and adjust of internal combustion and turbine engines, fuel controls, carburetors, clutch linkage, brakes and other mechanical links that utilize common hand tools and a variety of test equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, or rebuild diesel or gasoline engines, generators, starter motors, carburetors, associated generating and distributing equipment and aircraft arresting systems.
• Read and apply technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and to measure and work.
• Maintain records and equipment log books.
• Preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment including repairing and replacing tires, lubrication, oil changes, replacing air, fuel and oil filters, checking fluid levels.

As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-2003-9/11, you will develop command logistics guidance and support
plans for federal and state missions.

• Formulate and implement the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations.

As a PROGRAM ANALYST (TITLE 32), GS-0343-9, you will serve as the analyst and consultant for the management and administration of programs within the directorate or division.

As a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (TITLE 32), GS-1173-8, you will are responsible for managing a warehouse operation and the billeting of a variety of temporary quarters to include barracks, BOQs, BEQs, and VIP housing as well as other troop buildings in the cantonment area (e.g., administrative buildings, mess halls, and dining facilities).

• Assign troop buildings, furnishings, and equipment in the cantonment area in consideration of such factors as size of units, troop numbers, type of unit, serviceability and availability of building space and desire to maintain unit integrity while effecting maximum utilization of space.

• Check stock numbers and part numbers in supply catalogs to adequately identify property.
• Identify, examine, classify, accept, and dispose of a wide variety of materials and property including electronic equipment, aircraft and automotive components and assemblies.
• Operate large warehouse perimeter vehicles such as cargo tractors, stake trucks, mobile cranes, and forklifts ranging in size up to 10,000 lbs.
• Determine physical condition and serviceability of material and property.
• Prepare items for processing, utilizing appropriate Standard Anny Management Information System (STAMIS) such as computer terminal and bar code reader to read, store, track and prepare material documentation.
• Prepare inventory and production reports, screens and identifies shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and directs shipments to shipping or storage areas.
• Store hazardous materials; requires knowledge or specialized handling, storing, and safety procedures.
• Assist in the development of plans for storage and arrangement of stock to determine warehouse configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement and traffic flow.
• Serve as the senior member of a warehouse project team comprised of material handlers involved in a special project such as relocating a major commodity or equipment group or setting up a new commodity group area.

As a HELICOPTER PILOT (Title 32), GS-2181-11/12, you will pilot a variety of on one or more of the following helicopters: Attack Helicopter (AH-64); Cargo Helicopter (CH-47); Utility Helicopter (UH-60 series), (LUH-72 series) and others when assigned in support of the missions and functions of the geographical area.

• Operates aircraft with short takeoff and landing capability, generally in good or fair-weather conditions, but may include all types of weather, day and night over terrain such as forests, marshlands, mountain ranges, and open seas.
• Instruct in heavy (gross takeoff weight, over 12,500 pounds), twin-engine rotary wing aircraft (passengers and/ or cargo) at very low speed (less than 200 knots), under a restricted operating ceiling on short range flight operations (typically less than 500 miles).

• Conducts flight checks following repairs, maintenance, or installation of approved aircraft system modifications.
• Responsible for transportation of cargo and transporting passengers, among a variety of familiar destinations.
