SUMMARY
Filtra-Systems Company engineers and constructs industrial process filtration and separation equipment. Primary markets served includes Automotive, Oil and Gas, Wastewater and Remediation projects. The Project Engineer focus on ensuring all documentation related to the construction of equipment, products and services are generated and distributed to appropriate parties to ensure successful completion. The position participates in all aspects of project related activities from drawing and BoM management, shop prints, timeline generation, cost management, in-shop acceptance testing, and field commissioning.
A successful candidate will have the knowledge and capability to interface with a cross-functional team of engineers to successfully meet customer expectations. The candidate shall possess sufficient knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication practices to support and execute various product development and construction projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs and details components and assemblies utilizing 3D (SolidWorks, etc.) and 2D (AutoCAD, etc.) software.
Looks for opportunities to redesign legacy products.
Creates designs and documentation to facilitate manufacture of products including drawings, bills of material, material specifications and design files.
Guides and coordinates efforts of engineers, designers, project team members and technicians.
Develops and maintains engineering designs, calculations, processes and procedures.
Responsible for product design and/or construction projects to completion.
Produces necessary engineering calculations and component specifications.
Interfaces with designers and other engineers in team environment.
Checks work of others for accuracy, tolerances, as well as the applicability of the design.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing, etc.) and minimum relevant experience , or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Project Engineer I – Bachelor’s Degree and demonstration of relevant knowledge
Project Engineer II – Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
Project Engineer III – Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience
Senior Project Engineer - Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience or Master’s Degree and minimum of six (6) years relevant experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGRISTRATION
JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Proficient with SolidWorks, 2D Cad tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Skilled in time management in order to multi-task and meet production deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and
advanced statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and
differential equations, and proofs of theorems.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and
practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations,
graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of
abstract and concrete variables.
