What should you bring to the role?

Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit’s Automotive Academy in Derby. There are a total of 18 x 1 week blocks over the 32 month programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you. You will also receive 1-2-1 support from your Development Coach to help you achieve: • IMI Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3

Rental Equipment Delivery Driver Benefits:

• £25,264 p/a with a £25 on call payment for the Saturday on call, and overtime at 1.5 rate for any call outs beyond contracted hours.
• Tuesday to Saturday.
• 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with every Saturday also on call until 8am on Sunday morning.

As a Rental Equipment Delivery Driver, you will:

• Deliver medical equipment on rental agreements to key clients in Basildon and surrounding areas.
• With full training, perform basic installation of equipment on site and demonstrate how equipment works to customers.
• Use your geographical knowledge of the Basildon and surrounding areas to full advantage when driving a company issued 3.5 tonne van.
• Perform basic repairs (after training) on items and represent the company in a professional manner.

Rental Equipment Delivery Driver Skills & Experience:

• Previous driving experience of the Basildon and surrounding areas.
• Previous experience driving a 3.5t van.
