Salary Information: The salary range for Dallas, TX (DAL - Dallas Love Field) is $42,995 to $60,002 or $20.60 to $28.75 per hour and includes locality pay of 26.91%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
• Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with passengers (e.g., pat-downs, search of property, etc.), conducting bag searches and lifting/carrying bags, bins, and property weighing up to 50lbs.

In this Materials Handler (Motor Vehicle Operator) position, you will perform a full range of warehouse duties that include receiving, unloading, storing, shipping, and maintaining equipment and supplies stored at FEMA Distribution Centers in support of federal disaster operations.

Typical assignments include:

• Driving trucks up to 26,000 lbs. on a regular basis.

This Supervisory Transportation Security Officer position is located at Waco Regional Airport (ACT), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STSO), you will be responsible for mitigating actual and potential threats against civil aviation and other transportation modes. You will also perform and supervise in your area of specialty, which may include Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and Lead Transportation Security Officers (LTSOs) in the performance of all security functions related to the screening of people, property, and cargo through the use and application of procedures, techniques, and technology. As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO), you will be responsible for leading at least three full-performance level Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and, as assigned, trainee and apprentice level TSOs. As an LTSO, you will identify, distribute, and balance workloads and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow and skill level. You will make adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing input to supervisors and managers concerning a variety of human resources matters including, but not limited to, employee performance, promotions, reassignments, awards, etc.

The incumbent will clean, decontaminate, and reprocess flexible and rigid endoscopes according to IFU. The incumbent will clean visually inspect, and leak test all flexible endoscopes and choose the correct method of reprocessing (high level disinfection (HLD), steam sterilize, or Sterrad/V-Pro Max). Documents all items highly disinfected utilizing chemical disinfecting agents and checking and documenting efficacy of solution. Monitors expiration dates of endoscopes and pulls scopes expiring for reprocessing. The incumbent will disassemble instruments/equipment, remove gross contamination, manually wash instruments, and decontaminate instruments according to manufacturer's instructions for use (MIFU). The incumbent will inspect instruments in the Preparation area, assemble trays and reprocess reusable medical equipment according to MIFU. The incumbent determines appropriate method for cleaning, decontamination, and sterilizing of equipment to prevent cross-infection potential while avoiding damage to the equipment. Prepares loads, operates equipment involved in sterilization processes. The incumbent will pick-up and transport soiled RMD and deliver to Decon. The incumbent will deliver reprocessed RMD to the appropriate service. The incumbent stores, issues, and maintains locator records on all SPS cycled equipment. The incumbent advises medical personnel on proper use of equipment. Incumbent must be knowledgeable of and adhere to all SPS policies/procedures/SOPs in performance of duties.
