Job Overview

To ensure that the Shopping Centre is a clean, welcoming environment for all visitors. Your role will involve interactions with visitors to ensure that they have a great experience whilst visiting the centre. To work successfully within the team

You will be provided with full training and be expected to help us achieve our agreed cleaning standards.

Main Duties

-To ensure that all areas are always maintained to the highest standards.

-To ensure that all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order.

-To understand your areas of responsibility and the equipment and chemicals used whilst following Health and Safety requirements.

-You will be required to successfully complete all training required to deliver the cleaning role.

-You will be required to work within a team and be able to work under your own initiative.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery

They must be able to provide evidence of their AMHP qualification and required post-qualifying AMHP refresher training as part of their application. These posts are not open to those seeking a Trainee AMHP position or access to the AMHP training course. Professional support and on-going training All AMHPs receive regular individual and peer group supervision and appraisal. Teams are supported to have regular team days. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to both their own learning and that of others. Devon County Council also offers a programme of post-qualifying AMHP training in order to support your practice and on-going approval as an AMHP. As a service we are keen to support colleagues to find creative and interesting ways to share specialist AMHP knowledge and support the learning of those outside our team.
