This business started over 15 years ago, and has since expanded and opened branches across the Lancashire region. Our client stands as a beacon of legal excellence and client-focused service. Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, your role is integral to the financial operations of our firm. You will be responsible for the efficient handling of both client and office transactions, including the banking of receipts and the processing of payment requests. Your daily tasks will involve meticulous bank reconciliations and managing online banking activities. You'll ensure seamless funds transfers and ledger updates, while also handling supplier invoices and staff expenses. Your role extends to managing petty cash transactions and addressing general account-related queries. Organisation is key, as you'll assist in maintaining up-to-date department filing and undertake ad-hoc tasks to support the team. Your interaction with the bank and credit control experience will contribute to the firm's financial health. Additionally, you'll support the Finance Manager and engage with Legal Aid matters, showcasing your versatility and commitment to the firm's success.

With good communication skills, you'll be adept at chasing up on pending matters and engaging effectively with clients and colleagues. You'll be responsible for relaying information factually, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications.
