SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is toschedule and support academic training events for students and instructors assigned to the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) English Instruction Training Program; to review, prioritize, and coordinate academic requests to meet requirements specified in the appropriate Military Articles and Services List (MASL); to oversee Time and Attendance tracking for CONUS and OCONUS instructors; to provide a wide range of support services to the English Instruction Flight (EIF).

• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. With the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group (SOMXG) Commander, directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of more than 1600 personnel, comprised of three maintenance squadrons and one maintenance operations support squadron.
• Represents the 27 SOMXG Commander with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with installation command; commanders and deputies of other groups on the installation;
• Manages assigned resources to achieve peak mission support with greatest economy. Analyze operational trends forecasts requirements and identifies shortfalls.
• Participates in special projects & initiatives & performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional/technical advice & guidance & continuity of management from the Maintenance perspective.

• Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to obstetrical patients with a wide range of complexity from normal to highly technical.
• Conduct thorough patient assessment and/or examinations for laboring patients, to include recognizing serious situations and/or obstetrical or neonatal crises.
• Monitor patient conditions by completing activities such as: observing patient vital signs, neurological status, and progress of labor for intrapartum patients and transitioning care for neonates pre- and post-delivery.
• Administer appropriate medications orally, rectally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously, and/or topically.
• Execute emergency care for patients, to include initiation of life sustaining measures such as emergency delivery, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), neonatal resuscitation, choking first aid, bleeding control, etc., in the absence of the provider.
