ANALYTICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Where will you work: Onsite at New Wales, FL (3095 Hwy 640 W, Mulberry, FL 33860)

The Analytical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the preparation, analysis and data recording of samples while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety.  They are also responsible for preparing reports and maintaining database records.  This is a salaried, non-exempt, non-union position with overtime likely (OT is paid over 40hrs/wk), working 12hr swing shifts (Dupont schedule), 6am/pm – 6am/pm.

What you’ll do?

• Collect, identify, and prepare various samples for analyses.
• Set up, maintain, and operate various types of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Perform analyses using hazardous chemicals and prescribed procedures to determine quality of product samples.
• Perform calculations, review data for accuracy, prepare reports, maintain database records and other job-related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or GED is required.  Prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or science.
• Entry level Laboratory work experience.
• 1-2 years of Laboratory work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communications skills are needed.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Key Role:

 The Service Desk Technician will provide frontline support and act as the primary point of contact for large Government organization with diverse customers. Service Desk Technicians will provide the highest quality customer care with every interaction. The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations.
• Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on-call basis.
• Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs.  Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel. 
• Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
• Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home:

              a)  Physical abuse of any family member

b)  Home environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for children

              c)  Animals in the home that cause unsanitary conditions

• May clean and assist with the repair of equipment. 
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes.  Report malfunctions to supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.

• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.

Job Duties:

• Guide and provide direction to Maintenance personnel and communicate with production in the performance of their duties as required by operating schedule conditions.

• Collect information on current and anticipated conditions, communicate the knowledge to production, and create Work Requests with a Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) in our maintenance management program.

• Maintain a good technical knowledge of operations and work conducted by maintenance. This is to include contracted/third party work. Provide inputs to the utilization of the teams for planning.

• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with the planner.

• Assist the reliability team as needed by providing input, giving feedback on equipment, scheduling work needed to to assess equipment reliability, etc

What you can bring to this role:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading Trade Craft personnel

• Proficient in use of computerized maintenance management systems and able to adapt to digital work management.

ANALYTICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Where will you work: Onsite at New Wales, FL (3095 Hwy 640 W, Mulberry, FL 33860)

The Analytical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the preparation, analysis and data recording of samples while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety.  They are also responsible for preparing reports and maintaining database records.  This is a salaried, non-exempt, non-union position with overtime likely (OT is paid over 40hrs/wk), working 12hr swing shifts (Dupont schedule), 6am/pm – 6am/pm.

What you’ll do?

• Collect, identify, and prepare various samples for analyses.
• Set up, maintain, and operate various types of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Perform analyses using hazardous chemicals and prescribed procedures to determine quality of product samples.
• Perform calculations, review data for accuracy, prepare reports, maintain database records and other job-related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or GED is required.  Prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or science.
• Entry level Laboratory work experience.
• 1-2 years of Laboratory work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communications skills are needed.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Physical work environment is typically indoors and in a consistent temperature and occasionally outdoors and exposed to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
