Homeless Hostel Project Worker

A leading homelessness charity in London have approached Morgan Hunt to recruit a Homeless Hostel Project Worker to work in their complex needs homeless hostel in central London. The service provides support to both men and women experiencing homelessness. You will be supporting clients that have recently been rough sleeping with a range of complex support needs assisting them in their progression to independent living.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience working within a hostel or supported housing setting ideally with clients who have a history of homelessness
• Keyworking experience with clients who have a variety of support needs including homelessness, drug and or alcohol abuse, mental health and offending histories

Main Responsibilities1. Instrumental in delivering on key performance indicators associated with operational management and national improvement programmes such as the agenda around lengths of stay. The day-to-day operational management associated around patient flow alongside the strategic element of this role will involve working closely with various teams across the trust. 5. Project and Programme Management Take a lead role in managing, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of a number of related projects and activities and major initiatives within the Borough / Service Line to achieve beneficial change in line with the strategic objectives of the Trust. Planning, supporting and managing the implementation of projects with agreed project management processes within the defined quality, time and cost constraints across a wide area of clinical and non-clinical services. Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Project Management
• Scope requirement and produce robust and realistic business cases and project plans/risk registers for driving forward productivity initiatives, using appropriate methodology and leading to the implementation of actions and outcomes required to deliver the projects in line with locally agreed timescales

Your role will encompass:

• Assist in origination of new opportunities in PV, Batteries, Wind Onshore and H2 projects
• Coordinate / co-work with multidisciplinary teams of internal and external advisors
• Assist in preparation of regional financial models, with close cooperation with the Project Finance team
• Prepare and analyse key financial metrics for projects, including IRR and internal profitability metrics
• Prepare initial investment memos for internal approval to kick off due diligence process
• Prepare investment committee papers and reporting activities to the company's top management
• Cooperate with the Development Valuation Manager in coordination with M&A, development, and engineering teams for various processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, related fields
• At least 1+ years of energy and or financial sector experience with successful track records
• Knowledge of renewable energy, utility, and market
• Experience of infrastructure / energy financial modelling
• Exposure to Project Finance and understanding of debt sizing for purposes of modelling valuation
• Analytical skills to collate and generate reports for projects
• Strong Office skills, specifically in Excel (knowledge and application of VBA macros is a plus), Word, and PowerPoint

Collaborating with the Business & Programme Manager to help the Chief Medical Officer and the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and Control in planning and organising their workloads. Gathering information to prioritise their tasks effectively and ensuring deadlines are met. Keeping updated on the work of the Chief Medical Officer, the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and Control, and the Medical Directorate to make informed decisions in their absence. Ensuring the provision of a high-quality and timely word processing service (using all Microsoft Office packages) when producing highly sensitive correspondence, reports, emails, presentations, project plans, and spreadsheets. Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, acknowledging emails and letters, prioritising urgent or confidential correspondence, and ensuring efficient and secure logging and tracking.
