The Coach is responsible for planning, programming, coordinating, supervising, managing, directing and/or reviewing all activities for their assigned area of responsibility. Responsible for advising the Veteran Contact Center Manager (VCCM)/Assistant Veteran Contact Center Manager (AVCCM), on the daily operations of their team, to include reporting daily operational problems and needs to achieve goals and objectives of the Veterans Contact Center (VCC) VBA benefits programs as they relate to the VCC.

Specifically, the Coach will:

• Performs the administrative and personnel management functions relative to staff supervised. Establish guidelines and performance expectations for staff, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system. Observes workers' performance; demonstrates and conducts work performance critiques. Develops work improvement plans for the team, recommending personnel actions as necessary.
• Provides advice and counsel to employees related to work and administrative matters. Affects disciplinary measures as appropriate to the authority delegated. Reviews and approves or disapproves leave requests to maintain appropriate staffing levels for the division. Assures that subordinates are trained and fully comply with the provisions of all safety regulations. Hears and resolves complaints from employees engaging in ADR/mediation as needed.
• Builds and manages the workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations and staffing needs. Recruits, selects, appraises and rewards staff; acts to address performance problems. The incumbent ensures performance plans for all assigned employees are properly created and utilized. Utilizes the division's employee recognition and award program.
• Mentors team employees, addresses individual learning needs and effectively offers feedback to identify and correct deficient areas. Provides or arranges technical training necessary for the accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
• Resolves personnel complaints or disciplinary problems with assistance from AVCCM and human resources technical experts.
• Responds to calls transferred to the supervisory escalation queue or the Public Contact Representative (PCR) needs assistance in providing a response. Resolves calls received at this level by either answering the call immediately or by taking responsibility for "call back."
• Inspires, motivates, and guides others toward goal accomplishment, Coaches, mentors, and challenges subordinates; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations; models high standards of honesty, integrity, trust, openness, and respect for the individual by applying these values to daily behaviors

• Serve as a Senior Civil Engineer for transportation infrastructure and dams.
• Serve as a national expert on the entire range of construction, renovation, inspection, decommissioning, and/or demolition of Army dams and transportation infrastructures.
• Establish and/or maintain Army guidance criteria and standards for the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and infrastructure with Army publications.
• Produces the Army portion of federal required reports on dams and transportation infrastructure.

• Serves as a Special Security Representative for facilities and systems within USCIS, possessing a wide range of knowledge in numerous security disciplines to include personnel, industrial, physical, communications, and information systems security.
• Performs security operations and compliance duties in the management of the administration of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
• Demonstrates wide range knowledge of security program policy, development, and implementation involving Personnel, Industrial, Physical, Communications and Information Security Systems.
• Coordinates security classified level meetings and secure communications for USCIS cleared personnel and visitors.
• Conducts inspections of SCIFs while ensuring adherence to all ODNI and DHS security processes and method.
• Coordinates and provides special security awareness training within the Agency, including briefings, directives; computer based training and audiovisual presentations.

The duties of the Contract Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performs a full range of complex pre award and post award activities and is responsible for a full range of planning, directing and administering complex acquisitions.
• Formulates overall contracting strategies and priorities for the acquisition programs and approves contract types that include, but are not limited to, pre-negotiation positions, pricing arrangements and incentives, price adjustment clauses, proposed by team members.
• Assists and guides contracting and client personnel through complex source selection process, reviewing and evaluating acquisition plans, recommending approval, and reviewing and coordinating all source selection plans (SSP) prior to final coordination.
• Performs complex, sensitive, high level acquisition work characterized by an exceptional degree of difficulty and responsibility.
• Serves as a liaison to convey information regarding program activities, agency policies and goals; clarifies procedures and interprets directives and/or other governing regulations as needed.

If selected for this position, incumbent will be required to complete (within 60 days) all training, certification, and related administrative requirements required to obtain and maintain a senior contracting officer's unlimited warrant. 

Performs a full range of accounting duties using double-entry accrual accounting methods. Classifies
and verifies a wide variety of accounting documents in order to assure their mathematical correctness, completeness of information,
and to prepare control sheets with appropriate accounting codes. Maintains double-entry bookkeeping journals and subsidiary
ledgers, posting entries to establish accounts. Prepares monthly balances, reconciles accounts, and transcribes to general ledger for closeout of all accounts. Traces discrepancies, if necessary, to posting documents, computes operational expenses incurred by
individual activities for accounting services provided, and assigns charges appropriately. Reports prepared may include profit and

This Supervisory Security Assistant position is located in Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Vetting Analysis Division (VAD), National Transportation Vetting Center (NTVC), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervises and manages a team of highly effective security assistants in a 24x7 watch setting by assigning work, setting team goals, selecting team leads, assigning team members tasks and directing the administrative and technical work of subordinates. Guides the work and development of the team through job coaching/mentoring, enforcing disciplinary actions, managing staff schedules, and authorizing leave/absences, and measuring staff performance.
• Defines training needs, creates resolution and identity verification training, and trains subordinates on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conducts quality assurance reviews of employee performance.
• Skill in the use of automated case management system to enter and track customer information/issues while engaged with a customer telephonically.
