Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and implement Schroders’ Group Physical Security Policy and Procedures
Operations Leadership & Management
Report & liaise daily with Schroders’ UK Physical Security Operations Manager
Report & liaise daily with the Facilities Manager to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard of a professional security service.
Be responsible for the professional conduct & development of his/her senior security officers & his/her team of security officers.
Ensure compliance with SLA requirements, minimising associated risks to the company and to the customer.
In liaison with Group Physical Security, oversee the effective use and maintenance of physical security equipment (CCTV, Electronic Access Control Systems, alarms, communications equipment, electronic key cabinets).
Take ownership of incidents, direct the security team to ensure response and management is in accord with Schroders’ Group policy and procedures.
Work in partnership with service partners and customers’ representatives, ensuring all aspects of site security and fire prevention requirements are effectively managed.
Ensure staffing is at all times at required levels, with regular shift patterns worked by trained and qualified staff.
To manage on a day to day basis the CCTV, Fire and Security systems installed, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and carrying out their required duties.
Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures.
Reliable with the ability to be “on call” and to respond in times of emergency.

Staff Management:

Establish and manage a smart security team, motivated, well informed, focused and clear about its role and objectives.
Maintain fair and consistent disciplinary procedures.
Ensure all employees are motivated and trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring.
Take full responsibility for the effective & meaningful assessments in respect of his/her supervisors & team personnel.
Ensure that all staff grievances are dealt with according to company procedures.
Play a proactive part in the control of staff turnover.
Effectively manage and reduce absence.

Equipment:

Control use of all security equipment ensuring regular audits.
Ensure lawful, safe, efficient and economical use and recording of all supplies and consumables.
Ensure records of all security equipment are maintained.
Ensure all PPE is fit for purpose and serviceable at all times.
Manage all relevant systems and ensure that all defects are correctly reported and monitored.

Administration:

Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning.
Ensure all reporting standards are maintained at the highest level.
Ensure all extra cover is accurately monitored and recorded.
Ensure provision of adequate information for proper personnel administration of employees.
Provide accurate and timely timesheets, ensure they are kept up to date and to send time sheets to HO as and when required.

Hours - An average of 36 to 40hrs hrs per week on a 4 on 4 off basis covering days.

Job Overview

You are required to provide safety and security to our customer's property, people and/or assets in line with the published Assignment Instructions, delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators. Provide exceptional customer service to both staff and visitors alike, as well as undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development, all whilst upholding both Mitie and our clients reputation.

Main Duties

-            Use ASCONE to maintain the security of the site.

-            Primary role is to check and stay at (SCO) self check outs.

-            Deliver customer service to both staff and visitors.

-            Ensure the relevant reports are completed in order for accurate information to be recorded.

Training

For this role, you will be required to fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training, as well as undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Operations Manager. You are required to ensure you renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety

-            Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.

-            Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage, whilst using common sense and initiative to ensure the situation does not become threatening.

-            To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.

-            Complete an accurate and detailed entry of any incidents that occur on the system provided on site.

What you will do 

The Fabrication Engineer is an office-based electrical engineering resource who supports the design and implementation of small/large complex jobs. They will work closely with local resources, either internal or subcontracted, to ensure a clear understanding of both electrical system design and scope of work from a technical perspective.

As a Fabrication Engineer you will be responsible for early awareness of large jobs & engagement with Sales Teams, the Centers of Excellence (COE), and Field Leadership. How will you do it

• Supporting the fabrication of large/complex jobs within the fabrication group. 

• Monitoring both ‘Customer Experience’ and ‘Est. vs. Act. GM%’ trends within their assigned markets. 

• Reviewing & reconciling system design, cost estimates, and scope of work documents for jobs in their area.

• Participating in internal and external (customer) meetings as needed to review delivery plans.

• Tracking parts inventories for Specialty Products production, especially custom parts with long lead times. Ordering parts when quantities are low.

• Ability to transfer internal parts and assemblies.

• Hands on fabrication of electrical boxes, including wiring configuration, wire terminations and sheet metal fabrication.

• Communicating proactively with Sales Teams and Centers of Excellence (COE) regarding new opportunities early in the pursuit/proposal process. 

• Tracking productive time (activity categories & categories) to capacity and financial performance models.

• Provide monthly updates for each project within the forecast tool.

• Provide accurate documentation for billing cycle for each project.

Job Overview:

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

You must hold a current SIA licence or valid SIA certificates (licence can be provided) and a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.

Main duties:

· To deliver industry leading customer service

· To deter violence and public order offences

· To conduct patrols of the store

· Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss

· Liaise with the store management teams

· Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store

· To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety

As a Security Officer at Sodexo in Horsham, you'll ensure the safety of our customers, staff, their buildings and assets. What you’ll do:

• Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols

• Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems 

• Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting 

• Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff

• To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

What you bring:

• A valid SIA Licence

• Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities 

• Excellent communication and awareness skills

• Experience in working in a similar role

• Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
