Responsibilities

Ideally, you will have experience with:

• Incident Response: Proven experience in deploying and managing security infrastructure and responding to major incidents.
• Microsoft Security Experience: Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure security (certifications like SC-200, MS-500, AZ-500 are advantageous).
• Adaptability with Security Technologies: Experience in learning and using various security technologies, including private and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Security Frameworks: Understanding of information security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and NCSC CAF, along with the associated processes and tools.

The successful candidate will have experience in Scottish Law can be dual qualified, managing a Personal Injury case load with a high percentage of litigated RTA files. Applications are invited from Solicitors with an in-depth knowledge of the RTA Process and a proven track record in RTA litigation. About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – £12.39

Location – Byres Road, Glasgow.

Overview
Transport Scotland is the national transport agency, seeking to deliver a safe, efficient, cost-effective and sustainable transport system for the benefit of the people of Scotland. Transport Scotland is accountable to Parliament and the public through Scottish Ministers, with a budget of around £3.5 billion per year. Transport is a vital feature of the Scottish Government's focus on increasing sustainable economic growth, and transport investments and policies have major impacts on our economy, environment, and society.

The Major Projects Directorate within Transport Scotland is responsible for the design, assessment, promotion, procurement and construction of major transport infrastructure projects included in the current Scottish Motorway and Trunk Road Programme and new projects emerging from the second Strategic Transport Projects Review (STPR2). The Directorate also leads and advises on procurement and contract management matters for Transport Scotland.

The Directorate is currently responsible for the delivery of a number of high profile and technically challenging programmes and projects including the A9 Dualling Perth to Inverness Programme, A83 Rest and Be Thankful, and improvements to the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen. The Directorate is also involved in early development and business case work on Clyde Metro, Active Travel Infrastructure and Bus Priority on the Trunk Road Network.

The Roads Directorate is responsible for carrying out the management, maintenance and operation of the Trunk Roads in Scotland. The Trunk Road network comprises of around 3,500km of road and is the largest asset Scottish Ministers own (£21 billion net gross asset value). Other priorities include the co-ordination of response to emergencies affecting transport, roads policy, road safety including oversight of progress towards national casualty reduction targets, Intelligent Transport Systems and lighting, resilience, winter maintenance, transport planning of major events, roads and bridges design standards, and air quality and the environment including climate change adaptation and asset management.

The Directorate contributes to Transport Scotland’s delivery priorities of:

• Better journey times, better reliability
• Greener transport alternatives, reduced emissions
• Enhanced safety, more innovation
