• Implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access.

• Maintain computer systems, networks, and other related device, including implementing all applicable IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA), IA vulnerability bulletins (IAVB), and technical advisories (TA).

• Investigate IT-related security incidents to determine the extent of compromise to national security information and automated information systems. May provide intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of network assessments.

• Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network and device security and encryption. Performs duties in support of in-house and external customers.

• Configures and validates secure systems, and tests security products/systems to detect computer and information security weaknesses.

• Generates security architecture documentation.

• Provides critical written and verbal analyses of previously generated security architecture documentation and vulnerability and risk assessments.

• Develop and implement documentation to satisfy NIST 800-53, FISMA, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. Designs and implements Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) to remediate findings from vulnerability and risk assessments. Provides information assurance for digital information, ensuring its confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Responsibilities include monitoring and testing of IT systems for vulnerabilities and indications of compromise, incident response and remediation, and compliance with applicable government and other external standards.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Senior Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Group Security organization in China. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in daily Security Operations Center (SOC) incidents, as well as longer term activities designed to establish a team dedicated to investigating cyber incidents in the China region. The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Policy Associate plays an integral coordinating role on GIWPS’ cross-functional Middle East and North Africa work and advancing the mission of centering Middle Eastern and North African women in all global policy and debates.

They are responsible for creating and maintaining a regional network of women peacebuilders and human rights defenders. In developing this network, the they identify frontline women leaders from several MENA countries, coordinate regular virtual convenings, and amplify their work and voices in key policy recommendations, high-level events, and closed-door meetings. 

The Policy Associate is necessarily entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator in both English and Arabic. Proficiency in Arabic is required for this position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serve as staff expert on the status of women in MENA, and Women, Peace and Security vis a vis the Middle East and North Africa; and field external and internal inquiries on relevant topics.
• Draft policy briefs, blog posts, and articles on the MENA region and WPS, as appropriate. 
• Track the Women, Peace and Security agenda and developments relevant to gender equality and women’s rights in the MENA region in conjunction with the Conflict Tracker Fellow.
• Plan, coordinate, and staff events focused on the MENA region in collaboration with the Policy and Programs team.

Responsibilities: 

• Among other duties University Police Officers are expected to: 

• Protect life and property through the enforcement of state laws and university regulations.

• Proactively patrol assigned areas, address observed public safety situations, and respond to calls for service.

The DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) Joint Force Headquarters DODIN has an opening for a FUTURE ROLE. 

Position Summary:

GSM-O II provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DOD and COCOMs.  In this role, you will provide support with incident handling, triage of events, network analysis, threat detection, trend analysis, metric development, and vulnerability information dissemination.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leverage an array of network monitoring and detection capabilities (including netflow, custom application protocol logging, signature-based IDS, and full packet capture (PCAP) data) to identify cyber adversary activity.
• Support the development of Cyber Fusion standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Cyber Fusion Framework and Methodology based on industry best practice and department of defense instruction, guidance, and policy.
• Identify threats to the enterprise and provide mitigation strategies to improve security, and reduce the attack surface.
• Perform analysis by leveraging serialized threat reporting, intelligence product sharing, OSINT, and open source vulnerability information to ensure prioritized plans are developed.
• Analyze and document malicious cyber actors TTPs, providing recommendations and alignment to vulnerabilities and applicability to the enterprise operational environment.
• Discover adversary campaigns, anomalies and inconsistencies in sensor and system logs, SIEMs, and other data.
• Identify, investigate and rule out system compromises, with the capacity to provide written analytic summaries and attack life cycle visualizations.
• Provide risk assessments and recommendations based on analysis of technologies, threats, intelligence, and vulnerabilities.
• Offer recommendations to adjust enterprise or tactical countermeasures to for threats impacting the DODIN.
• Collect analysis metrics and trending data, identify key trends, and provide situational awareness on these trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and eligible for polygraph
