ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain test scripts using Python to validate WD eHDD firmware and hardware features to ensure WD product meets the quality specifications using best practices like unit test, CI and Agile methodologies.

As Streetworks (NRSWA) & Mobile Plant Trainer and Assessor you will train and assess delegates against current New Roads & Street Works Act qualification standards and/or NPORS Plant accreditation, playing an important role in ensuring that SSE have sufficient levels of qualified skilled staff to meet operational targets, and are safe and competent to work on the highway.

Reporting directly to the Technical Training Manager, you will work closely with our internal quality assurance team to ensure that the required accreditation standards are met and are to the satisfaction of the awarding body external verification.

Our main training facility is Thatcham however we would be happy to consider candidates from Central Southern England who may be able to deliver training locally. There may be a requirement to travel to other SSE sites to for certain training courses in line with business and team requirements.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

- Training and assessing delegates against current qualification standards.

- Ensuring that all training and assessment delivery is in line with internal and external standards to the satisfaction of the awarding organisation.

- Undertake training and assessment for other types of competencies to assist in fulfilling the overall Technical Training programme requirements.

- During and following completion of training delivery, you will have the responsibility of ensuring all supporting evidence, attendance records and paperwork are accurately recorded to the required standard.

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Analytics Manager is responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of a company’s specialized and internal HR systems, services, and applications. 

This role actively identifies areas of opportunity to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and workflow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes (i.e. employee movements, timekeeping and other systems)

This role will provide actionable insights through HR Data analytics and establish and execute strategies and governance on employee data management and analytics.

Key responsibilities:

HRIS Implementation and Project Management

• Lead the HRIS team to automate, integrate, and configure core HR processes
• Define the HRIS roadmap and serve as the overall Project Manager for all HRIS implementations and initiatives

• Analyse and design software's requirements and specification
• Develop, test and evaluate new or existing system to produce system application
• Have programming skill: C languages, C++, Java, Javascript, .Net, AS400, and /or COBOL

What will be your impact?

• Processing of Accounts Payable and expense Transactions in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Safeguarding corporate assets by ensuring all claims are mathematically correct and include the appropriate approvals for all levels of expenditures.
• Provide support to the Finance team and business unit leadership.
• Process various Expenses, Invoices, and Remittances.
• Maintain proper files of supplier invoices and expense reports.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of relevant work experience or Post-secondary education with a focus on business, accounting, or finance
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook.
