6-Month Initial Contract

Your new Company:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity Consultant to join the organisation, to lead the development and implementation of a refreshed Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).

Key Responsibilities:
* Review and update the existing Business Continuity framework, which has not been refreshed since 2017, to align with current best practices and standards which align with the requirements of ISO 22301:2019.
* Provide expert advice and support to Directors, Senior Management, and Business Continuity Leads throughout the business continuity lifecycle to enhance organisational resilience.
* Develop the business continuity processes and procedures required to deliver the BCMS, and review the BCMS to ensure its effective implementation across the organisation.
* Offer comprehensive guidance and support to Senior Management and Business Continuity Leads in developing, maintaining, and reviewing their Business Continuity arrangements.
* To offer advice to the organisation as to their current technology estate to establish the future disaster risk level.
*Foster a culture of Business Continuity understanding within the organisation through education, advice and awareness.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Essential qualification in Business Continuity Management
* Ideally, experience using ISO 22301:2019
* Proven experience in developing and implementing Business Continuity frameworks and systems within a large organisation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Processing a range of financial transactions into accounting system.
• Processing a number of small payrolls.
• Setting up payments on the banking platforms.
• Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
• Assisting with preparation of periodic management accounts.
• Data Management System control, source document and checklist administration.
• Following firm’s risk management and quality control procedures at all times.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Our ideal candidate will have good educational background and studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
• You will have a strong practical knowledge of the principles of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.
• You will ideally have practical knowledge of Sage L50 accounting system.
• You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise, multi-task and plan effectively. You will be comfortable operating in a client facing environment.
• We are looking for a candidate with good inter-personal skills and a collaborative approach who will be helpful and willing to support wider team.

Our client is a global insurance law firm who are currently recruiting a Supervisor to join their Motor Recoveries department. This role is open to a retrain opportunity for applicants with strong RTA litigation experience, ideally from a defendant background.

Your new role
This Motor Recoveries Supervisor position will see you manage a team of recovery specialists with all aspects of a claim. You will be required to allocate work accordingly. You will balance supervisory responsibilities alongside your own caseload of motor recovery cases. Strong client care skills are essential as you will be required to build and maintain relationships with a number of insurer clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified solicitor/lawyer of 0-3 years PQE. This role is also open to nonqualified individuals with suitable experience. Applicants will preferably have over 1 year's experience handling motor recovery cases. Those with strong RTA litigation experience from a claimant background may also be considered for a retrain element. A minimum of 1 year's supervisory experience is essential.
