About the Role:

As the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you'll have full responsibility for:

• Leading a talented team of chefs and kitchen assistants
• Creating delicious, made-from-scratch meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
• Managing a seasonally changing menu, offering hot breakfasts, lunches, and snacks
• Setting the pace, food quality standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
• Collaborating closely with the Restaurant Manager to enhance customer experience

Working Hours:

• Full-time, 39.5 hours per week
• 2-week rota: 4 weekdays plus alternate weekends (1 weekday and weekend off every other week)
• No unsociable hours or split shifts

A qualified nursery professional responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

We are in search of a proficient Nursery Manager to take charge of the daily functions of our client's nursery. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of dedicated staff members and ensure a secure, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children. The nursery caters to the needs of children aged 3 months to 5 years and is equipped with an enclosed outdoor play area, engaging activities, and convenient access to the local river and green spaces for enriching trips.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years or above
• Proven managerial or supervisory experience in a nursery setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education
• Dedication to diversity, equality, and inclusion in nursery operations
• Preferred First Aid and CPR certification
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology for nursery management
