The Role

As Assistant Technical Manager, you'll lead the technical side of our tannery's wet blue production, ensuring all processes meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily process control and resolve technical issues in wet blue production
• Manage and optimise wastewater treatment plant operations
• Monitor and document KPI and process parameters, initiating corrective actions as needed
• Implement ongoing improvement projects with the senior management team

We are working Exclusively with one of the Region's most successful Manufacturing Businesses who are looking to invest in a new position for the Company and recruit an IT Service Desk Manager.
The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for providing the IT Support services to all their Customers across the Group & leading the Support Team
What you'll need to succeed
Service Desk Managers or ambitious Service Desk Team Leaders who are looking to move their career to the next level would be considered for this opportunity.
Applications will be considered from candidates who can demonstrate the main requirements listed here:
- Previous experience of coordinating a Service Desk including asset, incident and problem management, offering hands on support to assist with Hardware, Software and Networking.
- Demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills and be able to recognise where processes can be streamlined to ultimately improve the end user experience.
- Continually review and update request handling.
- Track and analyse trends in Service Desk requests
- ITIL Foundation v4 would be ideal.
Technically, candidates need to be able to demonstrate the below key skills;
- Strong technical background with experience in Windows, Linux, and some macOS operating systems, as well as typical software applications (including MS Azure AD and O365, EOL, Teams and SharePoint) and network technologies.
What you'll get in return
The role offers a Salary of up to £45,000 + Annual Bonus (10-12%) + Annual Pay Reviews + Excellent Benefits Package.
