Job Title: Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Coordinator

The HRIS Coordinator assists with the development, testing, and modification of the human resources information system (HRIS), Workday, in addition to supporting other applications. This position will work with a team that supports the Lindenwood Education System to ensure optimization of Workday, its processes, data, and reporting.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Designs, develops, configures, and tests simple to complex business processes, reports, dashboards, and system updates within Workday
- Monitors new system functionality and assists team in implementing new features and updates for the Education System
- Generates reports as requested, guides team and leaders in accessing and running reports, and maintains the HRIS report database
- Supports the Education System by providing system support, helping to resolve issues, and researching alternative options or methods to resolve or enhance system workflows
- Serves as first-level response for HRIS and learning management system inquiries; troubleshoots issues
- Monitors workflows, integrations, and system usage; escalates issues to the HRIS manager as needed; supports manager in ensuring system effectiveness and efficiency
- Participates in and supports cross-functional projects and ensures timely completion of assigned responsibilities
Service Excellence
- Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values
- Designs user guides and videos and provides end-user system training as needed
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
- Assists HR team and System leaders with ensuring data integrity and analyzing dashboards and reports for accuracy and efficiency
- Leverages professional HRIS groups to stay informed of system functionality, best practices, and feature updates
- Supports the System and HRIS manager in configuring and testing new functionality and system changes
- Understands how the HRIS system interacts with other University systems and processes; collaborates across departments as needed to ensure efficient integrations and accurate data

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ related experience
- Experience with Workday HCM; cloud-based HR tool experience a plus

- General office setting
- In-person while training, Standard flex (hybrid) post-training working 2-3 days in the office each week. Must be able to attend certain meetings and events on campus as required.
- Occasional adjustments to hours to assist with System members operating in other time zones.
