This role focuses on providing critical support to victims/survivors within sexual health services in Barnet, ensuring a holistic and survivor-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead on sexual health for domestic and sexual abuse survivors in Barnet.
• Provide comprehensive support to survivors at all risk levels-standard, medium, and high-within a Sexual Health Clinic setting.
• Deliver risk assessments, safety planning, and intensive advocacy for survivors, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritised.

The Rapid Access Service (RAS) is an ever evolving, fast paced, community service, comprising of three pathways; 'Urgent Community Response', 'Discharge to Assess', and 'Virtual Ward'. You will be working closely with members of an MDT to reduce hospital admissions, and support timely discharges from hospitals.

The caseload is highly varied and includes delirium, TLSO and C-Spine braces, frailty and falls. You will support junior staff in the management of these complex patient's, whilst also developing partnerships with GPs, LAS and acute hospitals to provide an urgent response and risk assessment for people in their own homes. Within this setting there is a key focus on being able to identify a deteriorating patient, and escalating appropriately when required. There may be many barriers to treatment in the community, requiring complex problem solving and working with other external agencies to enable to the best outcome for these people.

You will have the opportunity to work within the therapy 'Falls Urgent Response' pathway for non injured fallers in the community. This will comprise of using specialist equipment to assist patients off the floor, and completing thorough assessments to ensure the patient can remain at home.

This is a 7 day service consisting of varying shift patterns between 9am-10pm. Willing to discuss flexible working, and happy to arrange an informal visit.

As a member of the Rapid Access Service, you will be expected to be a skilled Occupational Therapist who is an excellent communicator, is flexible and able to adapt to the needs of both patient’s and service. It is essential you are skilled in complex holistic assessments (functional, environmental, cognitive) to ensure patients are safe to remain at home.

This is a challenging and highly rewarding role and will enable you to develop your skills in the holistic treatment within a variety of areas. These include knowledge of medications and their impact on function; being competent in taking observations and completing NEWS2 scores on patient’s, interpreting these scores and identifying and escalating when a patient is unwell; being exposed to an array of medical and long-term conditions in people over the age of 18; identifying the need for a GP or specialist review as part of diagnostics, and being competent in liaising directly with the appropriate specialist community teams to ensure seamless care.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the service it, flexibility and and quick decision making is key for success. Assessing and issuing emergency equipment and setting up emergency care within complex situations is crucial. As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to be ‘Clinician of The Day’ (COD). This consists of screening all referrals for all pathways. The COD co-ordinates and oversees the therapists’ caseload on that given day, and allocates new referrals as they are discharged from hospital. This is a balancing skill in order to ensure the team have capacity and the discharge is well co-ordinated in line with the integrated discharge teams.

You will work with the team Consultant(s) colleagues to provide clinical leadership. You will attend handover meetings where the tasks of the day will be decided and work allocated. You will contribute to the assessments of both general adults and older adults when required. You will be Section 12(2) approved and will assess patients under the Mental Health Act, as required. You will attend relevant team management meetings and the Trust Liaison/Crisis team seniors meeting whenever required, along with other senior clinicians and managers. The NCL TLHC programme has been running since November 2022 and continues to grow in preparation for transition to a lung cancer screening programme.
Reporting into the TLHC Operational Manager, the postholder will work with the TLHC team, NCL Cancer Alliance and other local stakeholders across NCL to improve participation in the programme particularly amongst communities with lower uptake. To succeed in this role, you will have experience of delivering health promotion initiatives with a particular focus on addressing inequalities. We currently have a post available in our busy and constantly evolving Ophthalmology Day care unit- department and we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse. Band 5 to join our team of nurses and staff.

The DCU on Alex Cross ward to deliver special care for ophthalmic surgery including elective and emergency services. Patient care/ day care unit facilities to these patients admitted at Western Eye Hospital. The Western provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist ophthalmic facilities and is equipped with some of the most advanced diagnostic and technical equipment currently available.

The Western Eye Hospital forms part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the heart of Paddington, an area which is set to become one of the capital’s most attractive and vibrant centres.

In this role you will provide the best possible nursing care to patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work in all the outpatient departments and there is scope to work in the other areas of the Hospital. You will develop skills in many of the diagnostic tests that our patients require.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced range of staff to join the Camden Adult Pathway Partnership (CAPP). This service is a joint collaboration between UCLH and the Borough of Camden providing health clinics in Camden hostels.


We are seeking highly committed and motivated individuals who will ensure that we provide an effective wraparound healthcare service for homeless people within the Camden Hostel Pathway. The post is required to work as a team with the Head of Integrated Operations focussed upon developing effective collaborations with general and specialist clinical teams, hostel managers and staff and other outreach homeless services across the integrated care system internally and externally to UCLH, to provide the healthcare to the patients living within the Camden hostel pathway.

You will lead on critical care medicines-related functionality and ongoing development of the UCLH implementation of Epic, the Trust’s digital health record system

To ensure that the client and/or their carer has an understanding of treatment protocols and gives informed consent to examination and treatment. To successfully manage, modify and prioritise a caseload of clients with complex needs, with supervision and guidance as necessary from senior staff, taking a key worker role as indicated. To undertake a range of neurological and/or complex multipathology occupational therapy assessments of clients with complex needs through subjective questioning, objective examination and the use of other resources. To prioritise factors involved in the clients presenting condition through clinical reasoning based on knowledge of current professional opinion, clients prognosis and other physical, social, emotional and mental health issues. To agree personalised goals for treatment with clients and/or their carer and ensure that they are supported through their rehabilitation e.g. key worker, carer assessment and specialist sign posting routinely occurring. To maintain a high standard of clinical practice which is evidence-based, and uses standardised assessment and outcome measures, where appropriate. To deliver evidence based treatment programmes within a team approach in a variety of settings and evaluate and review occupational therapy treatment/interventions within a multi-disciplinary framework and modify as necessary. To deliver routine and specialist Occupational Therapy interventions with clients assessing their occupational needs and addressing quality of life, and physical, cognitive, affective, social, and environmental issues utilising appropriate individual or group treatment modalities. To use a range of interventions within rehabilitation and complex case management e.g. when managing tone, motor recovery, increasing participation in ADLs. To actively identify the need for joint working opportunities To delegate and monitor appropriately work to rehabilitation assistants To work autonomously at times in isolated community situations which vary in relation to local socio-economic and multi-cultural needs. To use knowledge of other multi-disciplinary roles and external agencies to ensure effective referral management and achieve best client care including seamless transfer of care. To have the ability, knowledge and skills required for moving and handling people in hospital and community environments and supporting the formulation of a routine risk assessments/ handovers.
