Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

The Liver Specialist Nurses works closely with the Lead Consultant for Hepatology in delivering a nurse led service for patients providing symptom management; counselling; surveillance; advice, helpline advice; prescription management; working and communicating with the wider MDT and ascites management. The number of patients with end stage liver disease has increased over the past decade. We now have 1000 patients within our service and these are increasing year on year. Liver disease is now the third leading cause of premature death in the UK. This Nurse-led service is well-established but forever expanding so requires flexible thinking and working. 1. To provide specialist knowledge and support to patients, staff and family within the acute setting, and through nurse-led outpatient clinics. 2. Conduct nurse-led chronic liver disease, follow-up and drug counselling/monitoring clinics. 3. Manage a telephone helpline for patients with liver disease offering support, advice, information and counselling. 4. Manage a blood monitoring service for liver patients. 5. Clinical Responsibilities The appointee will be expected to share responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care to the patients presenting to the Department. The provision of high-quality care in all clinical settings, including theatres, outpatient clinics, wards, and working well as part of a multidisciplinary team To support the clinical decision making of junior medical and nursing staff To provide on call support out of hours. To attend the Department out of hours as per agreed protocols Education & Training To participate in the training of a Subspeciality trainee in Gynaecological Oncology To participate in the undergraduate teaching programme from both the University of Bristol and the newly established Three Counties Medical School To assist and participate with the development of postgraduate training for doctors in training To contribute to multi-disciplinary skills training Continuing Professional Development We recognise the importance of continuing medical education and actively encourage our consultant team to prioritise professional development. You will undertake CME / CPD as per College recommendations. A mentoring scheme for new consultant staff is well established and each new appointee will be appointed a mentor shortly after appointment. Clinical Governance and Audit We have a well-established framework for clinical governance that incorporates clinical audit. Clinical Governance meetings are regular. The post-holder will be expected to take part in developing clinical audit activities within the department and achieving clinical governance objectives in accordance with the agreed Divisional and Trust clinical governance programs: To promote evidence-based practice. To participate in and develop Quality Improvement projects
