Job Purpose

Assess all aspects of client's care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.

Clinical 1.1 To act as a Specialist Nurse for patients undergoing bariatric surgery and to have direct clinical involvement in complex patient care in the outpatient and in-patient setting. 1.2 To provide a nurse led service for those patients requiring follow-up care after surgical intervention. 1.3 To facilitate all investigations for those patients suspected of post-surgical complications. 1.4 To facilitate the bariatric surgery telephone support service.
