What you'll do

As our Marketing Business Partner in Corporate & Institutional Banking, we’ll look to you to lead engagement with senior business leaders on converting business Objective Key Results into a customer centric strategy, with clear activation plans. You’ll design the marketing strategy, making decisions on resources and plans to prioritise delivery on the strategy, translating these into a three-year marketing strategy with an annual plan.

You’ll lead a team of marketing professionals by translating strategy into operational management activities, along with recommending and delivering a portfolio of products and services in line with the Marketing service proposition, through effective collaboration with the Marketing Centres of Excellence and all other relevant internal and external partners. You’ll sit on our leadership committees and interface with senior leaders within CIB.

Your top priorities will include:

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong influencing and stakeholder engagement levels at a senior level, with knowledge and application of marketing strategies and leadership including comprehensive end-to-end understanding of the commercial sales funnel and customer lifetime value. Develop and maintain inter-disciplinary and inter-agency working with all relevant agencies and organisations as directed

Develop and maintain close working partnerships with HMPS, Prison Governors and Heads of Prison Services, Forensic Services, Probation Services, Crown Prosecution Service, Police and all other non-statutory agencies that are integral to prisoner/patient care and offender management.

Undertake other duties agreed in conjunction with registered staff, West Kent Integrated Primary Healthcare Services

Custodial Responsibilities
Assume personal responsibility for the security of issued keys.
Understand and comply with prison orders, procedures, and instructions in your area of work.

Comply with all security requirements.

Respond to any situation or circumstance that might indicate a threat to security of the establishment or to the safety of an individual, completing Incident, Security, Injury, or other reports as appropriate.

Report breaches of order and discipline including reporting and recording untoward incidents according to local protocol.

Contribute to effective risk assessment and management procedures.

What you'll do

You'll utilise in-depth knowledge of bank capabilities to maintain a portfolio of customer relationships and support in managing successful and profitable relationships in a specific sector or geographic segment.

You’ll also:

• Be the coordinating first point of call for specific customer relationships, delivering the capabilities of the bank to appropriately meet those customers’ requirements including delivering sector content and core relationship facilities for these customers

Join us as the Head of Liquidity Portfolio Investment Management

• You’ll be responsible for the performance of the Group’s liquidity portfolio collateral management and overseeing the Group’s portfolios relating to operational continuity in its resolution

What you'll do

In this key role, you’ll be supervising an experienced team of risk managers and communicating with our stakeholders including our regulators. To do this, you’ll be maintaining up-to-date knowledge on the liquidity regulations and be a proactive member of the Treasury Markets management team.

We’ll look to you to oversee the development of our Liquid Asset Buffer returns whilst remaining within the risk limits set and by managing and growing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Through the course of your work, you’ll be:

• Managing a team of dedicated portfolio management professionals across a broad range of asset classes
• Supervising investment decisions for the liquidity portfolio for all subsidiaries within the Group
• Responsible for delivering the optimal return on capital within the bank’s risk appetite and meeting budget targets
• Overseeing the identification of IT application requirements, team resource requirements, staff development and any other resources needed
• Making sure goals and financial targets set are aligned to the risk appetite, set by the Group’s regulators
• Building and syndicating MI that details the risks and performance of the team that is both informative and intuitive to understand

The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll need trading experience obtained within a Treasury function or a Markets business, specifically including fixed income investments and associated hedging. You’ll also have knowledge of a commercial bank balance sheet which covers liquidity, capital, interest rate and FX risk management.

We’ll expect you to have a background in managing a trading related business including supervising traders, with experience in budget setting, strategic prioritisation and return on financial resources.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

• Practical trading experience of cash bonds, repo and OTC and exchange traded derivatives
• The ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Experience of working under pressure, prioritising workload and adhering to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work and liaise with all stakeholders
