An ELAN LSA is positive, a team player, motivational, flexible, creative, and innovative with a supportive nature, as well as being confident, calm, consistent and resourceful with experience supporting pupils in a classroom environment, with Special Educational Needs or disabilities (SEND).
You will work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning and support high quality teaching and learning across all subjects. We require an enthusiastic individual who would like to support a child in a Key Stage 1 year group. The ideal candidate will have experience in speech, language and communication. This pupil is working significantly below other pupils and requires a carefully planned and differentiated curriculum so that they can access learning. Develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum promoting classroom engagement. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant from September 2024 to support the inclusion of identified children with additional educational needs as part of the designated team within the school. This would be with our secondary age pupils and may be across the age and ability range.
We require motivated and enthusiastic people who can work positively and effectively as part of a team and support individuals with complex barriers to learning and behaviour that can present as challenges.
The successful candidates must have:
