This post is central to the successful delivery of major new research trials. Screening and recruitment of patients diagnosed with psychosis and patients at ultra high risk pf psychosis. This will involve speaking to referrers regularly, attending clinical team meetings, visiting community mental health teams, hospital wards, as well as home based treatment teams. There will be monthly recruitment targets for all studies. The post-holder will be joining a team of research assistants to help meet these targets. Completing eligibility screening assessments and seeking informed consent from patients. Carrying out the assessments for the trials. The trial patients will be assessed on a range of measures at a number pf time points for each study. You will need to arrange these interviews and administer clinical interviews, assessment tasks, and self-report questionnaires. Participants will be seen in clinic settings or at home across a large geographical area. Patients are seen in multiple NHS trusts including: Oxford Health, Northamptonshire Healthcare, Berkshire Healthcare, and Central Northwest London (Milton Keynes). Although some assessments may take place remotely, it is likely there will be extensive travel which would be facilitated by having valid driving licence, and access to own or other independent means of transport. Assessments will be carried out blind (i.e. you should not know which condition the patients have been randomised to). You will need to remind staff and patients not to tell you the allocation. And you will need to report if you have become unblinded. It will be crucial to maintain very high follow-up rates for the trial participants, meaning you will need excellent engagement skills. Good record-keeping will be needed, including updating medical records with trial progress and managing recruitment databases. You will need to follow standard operational procedures for the trial and NHS Trust policy regarding safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our fantastic group of scientists here at the Division of Structural Biology, Nuffield Department of Medicine. You will be working in Professor Jones at the Division of Structural Biology, working closely to gain insight into molecular mechanism for cell surface signalling assemblies. Research projects are typically highly interdisciplinary, aiming to integrate in vitro biophysical measurements, high resolution x-ray crystallographic analyses, electron cryo microscopy (cryoEM), and cell-based studies (functional assays, advanced light microscopy and cryoET).

As the Postdoctoral Research Scientist, you will be responsible for managing your own academic research activities. This involves small scale project management to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work and meet deadlines. You will be tasked with testing hypotheses and analysing scientific data from a variety of sources, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate. You will act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques.

It is essential that you hold a PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in a relevant subject (e.g. Structural Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Cell biology) along with experience in X-ray crystallography and/or cryoEM/cryoET, preferably of glycoproteins and membrane proteins. You will have experience in production of samples for structure/function studies and in biophysical and cell-based assays. You will also be able to manage the day-to-day running of a research project including assisting the work of junior researchers. Finally, you will have good communication skills, including the ability to present work at international symposia and to non-specialist audiences.

We are a Community Special School for children and young people from the ages of 2-19 years, with 110 on roll. Our pupils have severe learning difficulties, or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The designation of the school means that pupils typically have complex needs, and medical needs requiring a high degree of differentiation and bespoke provision. In most cases our pupils will be working below the national curriculum and the equivalent of Expected Levels for NCY1.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Therapeutic Radiographer whowill be pivotal in the training, development and support of both pre-registration learners and qualifies radiographers within the radiotherapy department.

You must be highly motivated, well-organised, have excellent communication skills, be able to inspire individuals and have extensive senior experience within the radiotherapy setting.

Our Oxford site houses 2 Halcyons & 3 Truebeams with 6DoF couches & RGSC; 2 of the Truebeams are Hyperarc enabled as well as a GoSim CT scanner with auto-contouring software. Our Satellite Unit in Swindon houses 2 Truebeams with 6DoF couches and a GoSim CT scanner and our new satellite in Milton Keynes will house 1 Truebeam and a GoSimCT scanner. All 3 sites are networked by ARIA. Over the three sites we will have over 100 team members including radiotherapy assistants, scheduling co-ordinators, radiographers, advanced practice & consultant radiographers.

Our client are looking for a Senior Supervisor to join their Paintshop team. This role requires working Wednesdays on a day shift 06:00-18:00, and also weekends, rotating between days and nights 06:00-18:00 week one and 18:00-06:00 week two.

**Role Purpose:**

Be responsible for assisting site management in operational technical cleaning activities. This will include, assisting in the management of labour and resources, plant and equipment operation and maintenance, Health & Safety, Quality audits using the company IOS platform & administrative duties. The post holder will be required to take a planned approach to routine scheduling and have an ability to respond effectively to any emergency or unplanned requests for work made by the customer.

**Responsibilities:**


* Be responsible for assisting in the management of all operational cleaning activities in order to provide the timely delivery of services to a standard which exceeds those as required by the customer within a defined area of Plant
* To manage operational resource for efficient working both as teams and as individuals, supporting capacity and resource planning activities where appropriate
* To actively assist the Paint Shop Manager and other Site Contract Managers by maintaining robust and close supervision of the team
* Able to investigate employees for misconduct, gross misconduct and other behavioural issues that arise in addition to breaches of Health & Safety regulations
* The timely delivery of scheduled cleaning activities
* Supporting the provision of input to KPI reportage is required on a timely basis
* Ensuring that cleaning operations are undertaken in a safe manner with special focus on ensuring: -
* Risk assessments and method statements are available
* All necessary current best practices are available and used
* All necessary visual aids are available and used
* Staff are thoroughly trained in all safety aspects relating to their job
* Ensure Health & Safety Regulations are followed regarding the safe use of Plant and Equipment
* Maintain a working knowledge of Company HR processes, ensuring they are carried out correctly, and both seeking support from, or providing support to, either management and/or Human Resources where appropriate
* Identify training requirements for staff and assist in the procurement of training and development and maintenance of training records
* To establish and maintain a clear understanding of customer quality standards and operate audit processes that ensure both Customer and company expectations are met
* To participate in regular reviews of services provided in conjunction with the customer to determine the extent of customer satisfaction being achieved
* Establish and maintain a working knowledge of Company systems and endeavor to ensure adherence to these, paying special attention to Operating Systems and processes for timely delivery of services to the required standard. Participate in the implement of new and revised systems when requested
* Assist in the procurement of capable and reliable plant and equipment where requested to do so
* Comply with all service and maintenance arrangements for the equipment used for cleaning

**Qualifications:**


* Knowledge in Health & Safety management systems.
* Certified Lead Quality Auditor for 1st and 2nd parties
* Understanding and application of problem-solving techniques (8D or similar)
* Full Clean driving License.
* Handling customer complaints and queries face-to-face
* Managing in an industrial cleaning environment
