Instructor Pilot US 
Responsible for the delivery of flight training in a flight simulator and ground school in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency, CAE approved curriculum, and customer requirements.   Act as subject matter expert (SME) ready to lead client(s) through their training.  After 1.5+ years, per business needs, designated Instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.

• Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards
• Other required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications and activity, etc.)
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required

Physical Requirements of this role include:

• The physical dexterity required in performing tasks that require hand / eye coordination and fine motor skills.  
• Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (as many as 10 hours) with limited breaks
• Ability to sit, stoop, climb and twist and turn

Job Responsibilities

• Strong experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformer (BERT and/or GPT) Fine Tuning, Vector Indexing Search, Large Language Model (LLM) with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).   

• Demonstrated experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL, Postgres). 

• Passionate about learning and disseminating new knowledge.

As a CACI-SOAS Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Expert, you will support the US Army North G5 Future of Homeland Defense Project (HDP) in solving future problems confronting the nation out to the year 2040. More About this Role:

This is a part-time on-call position requires a minimum of one week each month to participate in the ARNORTH HDP Design Workshop on Fort Sam Houston, TX for the purpose of collaborating with other SMEs. As the AI/ML Expert, you will work with other SMEs on the ARNORTH Design Workshop panel to provide expert advice and guidance to clients, leadership, and VIPs. You will be an expert who has a wide variety of expertise to include programming languages, data engineering, exploratory data analysis, models, services, deploying, and security. Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of neural networking, deep learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning concepts. You will be responsible for the writing and submitting White Papers on AI/ML as well as other related topics confronting homeland defense.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Current Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain TS is required.

• Minimum of master’s degree and 10 years of relevant work experience.

Overall Responsibilities:

This posting is for an Implant/VSE New Product Introduction (NPI) instructor based in Austin, TX. This position is a combination technical instructor and technical expert role on existing and new products. The position is required to work within (or in close proximity to) the business unit (BU) located in Austin, TX in order to learn the new PDP/NPI products (i.e. the new mainframes, chambers, and tools) under development by the BU, gain experience on the startup and sustaining production tasks on the tool, and develop/deliver initial classroom and hands-on training on the tool. Once the tool transitions to volume production, the NPI instructor will train up the volume instructor, who then takes over the product from a training ownership standpoint.

Position will require learning and application of that learning on three fronts – (1) training fundamentals; (2) existing products; and (3) new product training development.  Training fundamentals will cover the training methodology, tools, materials and confidence to deliver both live distance learning (LDL) and instructor led hands on (ILT) course delivery. Existing products start with basic operations and maintenance, followed by trouble shooting and diagnostics, and eventually mastery of the tool. Product training development will require content development and project management skills to help bring a new tool design from concept to reality, through the development of comprehensive training curriculum, student guides, and supporting materials and technologies.

Due to the scheduling of PDP/NPI product development, the NPI instructor will often be researching, gaining knowledge/experience, and developing/delivering for several new tools/chambers at a time, so project management, training/presentation experience, and technical acumen (mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, etc.) of semiconductor equipment is required.

Basic breakdown of time is:

~45% learning the new tool and gaining knowledge and experience (mechanical, electrical, software, process, etc.) and developing the course materials, structure and updating of existing courses

~35% delivering training or coordinating structured factory OJT

~20% other activities

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts semiconductor equipment training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and functional knowledge from the experts; understanding job-specific functions and tasks; maintains product technical knowledge sufficient to prepare and present defined product courses; disseminates new information to training and business unit staff

• Communicates with product groups to obtain current product information for course updates; manages multiple projects of diverse scope and complexity; directs project team members. Represents AGS TS at divisional meetings, external conferences, and industry task force activities

• Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems

• Utilizes Technical Publications and System Product Business Groups to maximize technical documentation efficiencies; occasionally develops customized training materials per customer needs; trains others in standard course development process/Instructional System Design (ISD); ensures the correct revisions of product procedures and schematics; identifies and corrects procedural issues with the business unit

• Lead NPI training development projects with minimal support; works closely with Instructional Design (ID) team liaison to develop curriculum, schedules, exams, and other training materials, following a predefined process; develops hardware training student guides by identifying and describing information needs; using basic desktop publishing (PowerPoint and Word); submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy

• Follow existing development process and guidelines set forth in our Course Development Handbook.

• Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations; Provides technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to assist with system repairs; ensures system functionality can support course objectives; ensures all safety retrofits are installed on the training systems

• Presents technical training in house and at customer sites; conducts training classes by presenting job-specific classroom and hands-on learning environments and opportunities; manages classroom/lab activities to ensure fulfillment of course objectives; presents and practices safety per procedure; may train during off shift and/or weekends as assigned; actively certifies others; establishes new certification requirements; Evaluates training by evaluating effectiveness of training to specific job applications

• Provides coaching and leadership to other instructors; serves as mentor to junior instructors for class delivery, technical development and certification; anticipates, prevents and resolves customer satisfaction issues.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, PLUS 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery equipment (such as robots, programmable controllers, power supplies, pneumatics, vacuum systems, power distributions, facilities, high voltage systems, high current systems, and robot controllers), following manuals, specifications, blueprints, and schematics, and using hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment

• If no Bachelor’s degree, 6 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience

• 2 years of formal or informal experience in education, performance-based training, or training/presentation delivery to external customers is desirable.

Reports to: General Manager (GM)/ Assistant Manager (AM)

Department: Operations

Purpose: To instill and maintain integrity and compliance of the PE@PF program at your respective club while ensuring the program consistently provides value to the member, PF brand and company’s core purpose. The main responsibility of the position is providing coaching, and training to new and existing club members through a wide variety of small group training experiences so they can move closer to their respective goals and be happy engaged members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fully proficient in performing the role as detailed in the PF Trainer Playbook.
• Available to train Planet Fitness members during all PE@PF small group training sessions.
• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals. These programs must be designed with safety, effectiveness, and be appropriate for the specific member.
• Submit all training programs and workout logs to the GM for review on a weekly basis or as requested.
• Inspect all equipment for possible malfunction or damage and report findings to the GM or AM.
  • Perform general equipment maintenance like guide rod lubrication, cable inspection, belt inspection, seat pad inspections, and equipment testing.
• Log training session attendance data into DataTrack system.
• Track and record PE@PF success metrics requested by GM/AM.
• Monitor the primary workout areas to make sure that members are using the equipment correctly and or following club rules. 
• Deliver daily the trainer key contributions:
  • Engage with members to drive loyalty to the PE@PF program. The trainer should be motivational, inspirational, and provide continuous encouragement.
  • Support members in achieving their individual goals.
  • Promote the program to members. When a session is not booked trainers are expected to walk the floor and greet members they have not met. Look for members that need help and recommend they sign up for FREE training sessions.
  • Foster staff member understanding of the PE@PF program. Teach staff about the different sessions offered and encourage them to communicate this information to members. Generate excitement for the program with the employees and members to increase PE@PF usage.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.

• Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards
• Other required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications and activity, etc.)
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required

Physical Requirements of this role include:

The Fire Training Specialist I - Internal Training coordinates the delivery of Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS)-specific, wildfire and incident management training courses. They will identify training needs within the agency. They will also be knowledgeable of all aspects of TAMFS training programs and participate in emergency response.

Responsibilities:

-Coordinate the delivery of TAMFS-specific, wildfire and incident management training courses. Provide course instruction and support internal and external courses. Prepares and completes reports, monitors performance of instructors and cadre to ensure course quality.

-Identify internal training needs as they relate to natural resources, wildfire and incident management. Develop and deliver an internal training program to meet the needs of field staff. Coordinate with external and AHIMT training to reduce overlap

-Participate in wildfire and all-hazard incident management which may require: working long hours with minimal rest and in primitive condition, exposure to harsh environmental conditions such as smoke, wind, sunlight, rain and temperature extremes, walking long distances, standing for extreme periods, twisting, bending, reaching, kneeling, lifting and carrying large objects, driving motor vehicles for long distances, operating heavy equipment with related exposure to equipment vibration and noise, operating computers and monitors for extended periods of time. Individuals serving in response roles must meet all qualification guidelines, including physical fitness levels.

-Support Internal Training Delivery, Facilitated Learning Analysis Program, Inter agency Wildfire Academies and other training programs.

-Serve as a professional representative of the agency. Assist in answering customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints.

-Manage and account for TAMFS credit cards, vehicle log books, time reports and any assigned TAMFS equipment in accordance with applicable laws, rules, procedures and guidelines.

-Comply with all loss prevention, environmental health and safety standards as established by applicable laws and rules.

-Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Emergency Management, Fire Science, Education or related field

Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Natural Resources, Emergency Management, Fire Science, Education or related field
Required Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with a recognized wildland fire agency or emergency response agency.

Preferred Experience: Six (6) or more years experience with a recognized fire agency or emergency response organization. Experience as an instructor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required Knowledge: Working knowledge of educational systems, course development and revision, training management principles, instructional processes and methods of adult education. Working knowledge of wildland fire management and operations (NWCG), incident management team (IMT) operation, the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Qualification System (IQS). Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Awareness of natural resource issues in Texas and familiarity of TAMFS natural resource programs.

Required Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Sound planning and organizational skills.

Required Abilities: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships within the agency and with cooperating agencies. Ability to manage simple projects and/or events. Multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
Required: Valid Texas Driver's license or ability to obtain one. NFPA 1041 Instructor I training. S-130/190. ICS-300. ICS-400. S-131 certificate or entry-level training in Plans, Logistics or Finance. Qualified as an FFTI/ICT5 or an entry-level position in Plans, Logistics or Finance

Preferred: NFPA 1041 Instructor II Training. Qualified as a Single Resource Boss or a Unit Leader in Plans, Logistics or Finance

Other Requirements:
-Response to statewide wildland and all-hazard incidents will be required. Individuals serving in fire or emergency response positions must meet and maintain appropriate qualifications and fitness standards.
