The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK.

Our duties include:
Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.
Controlling entry and exit - Managing control room and gate operations and ensuring all visitors are dealt with efficiently.

Military Working Dog services (at selected sites).

Our units are located at over 119 sites across the UK mainland. We have our own Military Local Service Contract which allows soldiers to choose where they wish to serve, providing there is a vacancy.

Requirements:
• Background - You must have at least 3 years prior Military Service, or be currently serving, in any arm of the British Military, regular or reserves.

• Age - You must be over 18 years and under 57 years of age at re-enlistment.

• Fitness Eligibility - You must be medically fit and have a Body Mass Index below 32.

• Driving Licence - You must have a full UK driving licence with less than 8 penalty points.

Previously Served Personnel:

To deliver preventative maintenance, compliance, installation and repair services on a range of instrumentation supplied by our client and other manufactures at customer's sites in defined areas of the UK.
Deliver all services following approved checklists and record all work done by completing the appropriate servicing documentation.

About you

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the DCA in the absence of the Registered Manager. You’ll be a friendly, dynamic and caring leader with a passion for the care sector and delivering the best support.

You will also take part in the on-call rota (although this may be subject to change depending on the needs of the service).

I would like a confident and friendly male support worker to work on a self-employed basis to be a second carer for an active gentleman. About Service User

S is a 44 year old male with cerebral palsy. S is non-verbal but communicates with sound and hand gestures. S is able to walk but requires mobility support in the form of hand/arm holding and a wheelchair at times. S requires support to eat, drink and use the toilet. An element of personal care is therefore required. S requires constant care and supervision, he cannot be left unattended. S enjoys being driven to different locations in order to people-watch, for example parks or town centres. Its important, however, that S gets out of the car and goes for short walks in order to keep him mobile. S also enjoys swimming and is a fair swimmer, he would require close supervision when in the pool.

Our specialist companion animal care centre is home to over 200 animals ranging from livestock, exotics and companion animals which includes birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. The role of Animal Care Technician is to work on a daily basis with the animals completing all husbandry needs and ensuring high standards of animal welfare, with part of the role supporting learners in practical sessions.
Our animal care courses ensure that our students leave us with the scientific, practical and administrative skills they need for their careers in animal care. This campus is really all about the animals and has a real community feel to it.
