My client is currently looking for a face to face Customer Service Assistant to join their team based in Manchester City Centre.

The role is currently temporary for 3 months withe potential for extension.You will need to be fully flexible to work shifts either day or night, over weekends and bank holidays. You may also be required to do some 12 hour shifts.

We are looking for someone who has experience of:

You will be providing a customer focused presence on a day to day basis to deliver a first class and safe environment for passengers and retailers. This will involve:


Undertaking regular site checks including contractor compliance, security, safety and completing the relevant paperwork for audit purposes.
Responding to and recording emergencies and incidents involving the general public and industry partners.
Providing a point of contact for the reporting of faults within the site, maintaining appropriate records, reviewing and closing actions as required.
Actively assist and provide information to customers travelling throughout the site.
In liaison with customers, external authorities and regulators, implement plans to prevent and manage criminal activity on the site, including discouraging and preventing unauthorised persons from entering or remaining on the site.
Provide a proactive role in dealing with hazards or unsafe conditions, checking that all such occurrences are reported correctly.

You should have strong communication skills both written and oral. You must also have the confidence to deal with different types of situations assertively.

As part of the requirements for this role you will be required to undergo a Basic DBS check and provide 3 years of referencing.

The role

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be part of a small team providing a first point of contact to our 100+ users and will actively assist with all I.T related issues, to full resolution and within SLA.

You’ll be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You’ll be able to document all research, progression and fixes in our ticket management system. You’ll deploy new hardware to our users and administer their related profiles and accounts across multiple platforms. You’ll be available for providing out-of-hours (On-Call) services on a once-a-month rota basis.



Key responsibilities

User Account administration across multiple platforms.
Provisioning equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
Manage and maintain IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.

The critical care nursing workforce typically experiences higher rates of turnover than other groups and there is a greater need for post registration education, meaning that achieving and retaining a skilled and knowledgeable workforce can be challenging. Service Care Solutions are looking for a Customer Support Officer to work within the Transport for Greater Manchester on a contract basis.

Location: Manchester

Job role/responsibilities:
To be the first point of contact for all customer and stakeholder enquiries, ensuring an excellent customer service is provided during every customer contact.

• Effective use of a variety of contact channels in handling customer enquiries.
• Handle all customer and stakeholder queries, requests and reports received to TfGM Contact Centre, via telephone or in writing.
• Logging customer feedback relating to public transport.
• Support service for colleagues in Travel shops.
• Complete relevant administration processes relating to contact centre services.
• Ensure you comply with all organisational policies and relevant legislation.

Knowledge/Experience required:

• Experience of dealing with customers or stakeholders by telephone with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely, delivering excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Excellent written skills with the ability to compose letters, emails and other correspondence using customer focussed language and tone.
• Experience of liaising with internal colleagues to resolve issues.
• Experience of working within an organisations policies and procedures.
• Demonstrable success in a target driven role.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Database systems.
• Experience of handling difficult customer or stakeholder interactions and reaching a positive conclusion.

Qualifications required:

• Educated to GCSE or level equivalent.
