What you will do 

Johnson Controls is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm and suppression, security, and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a SSE, Service Sales Executive. The primary function of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products to include fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication and inspections. What you will do        

Under direct supervision, tracks and provides direct support for the planned service agreement renewal process. Actively participates in accounts receivable activities such as collections and new customer authorizations. Provides back up customer call handling, as needed. Provides administrative, day to day support in the service operational areas.

How you will do it

1. May be responsible for the scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of the touch point plans and the contract renewal life cycle process with the account owners. Escalate issues to appropriate individuals for timely follow-up as required. May require direct interaction with customers for follow-up to secure purchase orders or to meet special invoicing conditions. 

2. Updates the Service delivery plans as required by team. 

3. Runs query reports, researches, and reconciles unaligned costs, such as labor hours, material purchases, expenses and other service-related transactions. 

4. May prepare and submit service billings in a special invoice format as defined by individual customer account special handling requirements. 

5. Reconciliation of accounts payable exceptions as necessary. 

6. Researches, resolves, or escalates accounts receivable disputes as outlined in the escalation process. Works with Accounts Receivables contact to assist with resolution of truck-based team A/R issues. Determines appropriate actions for timely resolution. If needed, will interact with Customer to resolve receivable issues. Processes invoice credits and re-bills, as necessary. Proactively contacts customers ensure customer satisfaction and a commitment to pay. 

7. Updates and retains customer account information related to special billing conditions, tax status, invoice approval contacts, billing addresses and special billing rates up to date. 

8. Support inventory control process including updating equipment asset transactions. 

9. Assist CSAs in resolution of warranty/SD warranty issues. 

10. Provide additional service administration support, as required.

What you will do: 

Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.  

How you will do it:

• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.  
• Service, troubleshoot, and install card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.

• Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.  
• Available for on-call emergency service.

Job Description:

A Service Specialist is part of a team that provides various administrative support to our clients which may include; copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities and receptionist services.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule

• Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions

• Reception includes answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person, will greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner

• Hospitality Services includes coordinator and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed.

• Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance

• Facilities Services may include hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer services field

• Ability to multitask with attention to detail

• Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact

• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

• Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.

• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

• Mail Services includes assist with mail delivery, prepare for mail shipment, label or post outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS or other overnight delivery. Assists Office Administrator (OA) in providing overall support services necessary to assist the firm’s attorneys and support staff to function productively.
• Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance.
• Facilities Services includes set up conference rooms, meeting special client requirements, including correct table set up, tables are clean, lighting / shading is functional, and room is presentable.
• Performs facilities related duties including picture hanging, infrequent assembly of small furniture and other special needs as required.
• Assists with day-to-day facilities functions, including moving single or multiple offices/work locations, file cabinets, and boxes.
• Assist with office moves, replicating appearance in new location; set up of new offices with supplies, ensuring all equipment is functional, and office is presentable; departures, removal of all files delivering them to appropriate personnel, packaging of personal items, and ensuring office is presentable for next occupant.
• Hospitality Services includes coordination and upkeep of common areas and kitchens. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies.

The Compensation range for this role is 16.78 to 24.08 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
