As a Senior Community Support Worker (Positive Behaviour Support) you will provide first line management to a team of Community Support Workers (Positive Behaviour Support), developing their capability through demonstrating the right values and behaviours, mentoring staff, and supporting their ongoing development.

You will work alongside other practitioners within the service and community, to upskill and increase the resilience of children and their families. You will have the opportunity to receive formal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training and coaching from qualified behavioural specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for a portfolio of clients
• Reviewing work that has been prepared by assistants, and Accountants.
• Preparing accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns and any other compliance work needed for filing at Companies House and HMRC.

Working as part of a team supporting women who have been discharged from secure services and have severe and enduring mental health diagnoses; this position provides specialist input to empower women to continue on their journey to independence and support them to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience of women’s support, personality disorder, forensic or mental health services including challenging behaviours and a willingness to engage with the extensive training programme provided.

You will work in partnership with the Service Managers, using both hope and recovery and Cognitive Analytic Therapy models. The Senior Mental Health Recovery Practitioner will provide informal leadership, coaching and support to less experienced team members. NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care would be an advantage. What will you do?

Property Management

• To ensure our customers and their properties are cared for and maintained to the highest possible standards, in line with

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. We are looking for a senior support worker within South Manchester Mental Health Service in Northenden, supporting adult females who have severe and enduring mental health diagnosis. The service provides 24 hour support which requires staff to fulfil sleep-ins as part of rota hours. The service is CQC (Care Quality Commission) registered for the activity of personal care. This is part of the provision for those who require this who live at the accommodation.

In 2016, the service remodelled from residential service to support accommodation to meet the change in need of women leaving hospital settings. During this time the service model has been able to develop and progress with the experiences people living with mental health have. The service has emphasis on bespoke support planning and key worker relationships. The key aim is to support women’s recovery journeys and ensure pathways for greater independence are available and can be achieved.




The role will involve practical assistance with daily living, support and delivery/access to a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing. Day to day oversight of rotas and staffing needs as they arise and excellent communication with line management/senior colleagues.

You will work flexible shifts on a rolling rota to meet individual needs in a personalised way. Experience of supervising staff is desirable. Prior experience and possession of a relevant qualification is desirable.

The role involves working closely with the Payroll Lead to ensure accurate and timely processing of pensions, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

1. Pension Process Management:

• Ensure accurate processing of pension requests.
• Timely notifications to pension funds.
• Facilitate annual returns for the Council and other Pension Schemes.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Assist in preparing year-end and statutory/non-statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations by maintaining and archiving pension data.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:

• Provide guidance and technical advice to Pension Officers and stakeholders.
• Support system developments related to Payroll and Pension objectives.
• Handle complex pension issues and queries.

Team Management and Development:

• Manage the pension team to meet deadlines and requirements.
