Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 /3)

Hourly Rate : £11.60

Hours Per Week: 40

Shift Times: 07:30 - 18:00

About the Nursery:

Our client offers care and education for children aged three months to five years. Located in two purpose-converted barns, the nursery has a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere to promote learning and enable children to reach their full potential. Children at the Nursery participate in activities which are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support their physical, emotional, and academic development.

The role of a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) within the Nursery involves:

• Supporting the Room Leader in the day to day running of the designated room and nursery
• Acting as a Key person to several children
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor areas
• Completing observations and ensuring that these are recorded accordingly.
• Planning and delivering activities that in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Building strong relationships with parents and keeping a strong line of communication with them
• Adhering to internal and external policies and regulations
• Reporting and recording all incidents, as well as promoting a culture of safeguarding.
