Role

Experience and knowledge of teaching National level courses from N5 to Higher are highly desirable, as is experience in teaching Photography to Higher.

The post is a Maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Grade: £36,312 - £42,717
Hours: 36 per week

An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Street Lighting Design Team for the post of Engineer, based at Bankhead Depot.

The post is a key position within the Roads and Infrastructure function of Operational Services, supporting the effective delivery of the Council’s street lighting service.

The Engineer will initiate, develop and manage street lighting maintenance and improvement projects.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake this challenging but highly rewarding role. The successful candidate must have extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on budget and to challenging deadlines.

In addition, the post holder will be required to develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people and organisations. Contacts will include senior colleagues across the Council, elected members, external contractors, public utility companies as well as the general public.
