Agarwood, an aromatic dark resinous wood typically used in incense, fragrances and wood carvings, is greatly sought-after for its high intrinsic value. Many planters throughout Southeast Asia invested substantial resources into developing their capabilities to cultivate this precious wood that is also widely known as “forest liquid gold”.
