In this role, you will be responsible for handling requests made under the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (previously known as Clare's Law). You will assess risk, conduct face-to-face meetings with individuals at risk, and disclose relevant information to them. Additionally, you will prepare and present evidence in court to secure Domestic Violence Protection Orders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process and track disclosure requests under the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide information to individuals at risk.
• Present cases in court for Domestic Violence Protection Orders.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies.
• Deliver training on DVDS/DVPN/DVPO procedures.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and tact.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in IT and Windows-based systems.
• Experience in providing policy guidance and working with the public.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Experience in safeguarding and conducting risk assessments is desirable.
• Full UK Manual Driving License is required.

This new Macmillan service aims to ensure that adults affected cancer experience excellent psychosocial care wherever they are on the cancer pathway. This is an integrated whole system model for identifying and providing psychosocial support across the cancer landscape.

Active service user involvement is fundamental to the service aim to support personalised comprehensive care and support for people affected by cancer in our population through:Timely & equitable access to appropriate level 1-4 (NICE, 2004) mental health support integrated with cancer care clinical pathways
• Improved coordination, proactive and integrated psycho-social support across primary, community, social and acute settings
• Psychosocial education and support for health care professionals (including collaborative learning and reflection sessions) and ensuring continuous development and improvement of the psychological care approach
• Improved integrated support for people with learning disabilities and pre-existing mental health conditions with cancer

This service has been funded collaboratively by Macmillan and Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance with the support of Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB

You will co-produce, develop and implement innovative, diverse and inclusive user involvement within the psychosocial pathway and beyond ensuring the User Involvement Strategy aims and objectives are planned and delivered effectively.

You will work closely with people living with and affected by cancer, carers, colleagues and partners across Lancashire and South Cumbria to ensure the voices of people affected by cancer are heard, valued and have influence throughout all areas of the pathway design and delivery in a co-productive way.
