As a Business Manager on the Numeric COO team, you will be working hand-in-hand with our COO and team to support the various functions of the business unit. This team helps to organize the Investment engine objectives and collaborates with all stakeholders in Numeric and the broader Man organization. The daily tasks will vary but largely involve project management, coordinating meetings and materials, organizing current business/strategic initiatives, and ensuring the general needs of the business are being met. This position will also play a key role in clinical study financial risk management and process improvement. They are expected to identify and advise study teams on financial risks and impact to budget, continuously enhance study financial planning processes, ensure compliance with standards and internal processes and procedures, and provide training and guidance on financial planning related to clinical trials.
