The Opportunity:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Night Team Member to join our team and ensure the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift. The Night Team Member will be responsible for managing guest requests, ensuring security and safety procedures are adhered to, and providing general support to the hotel staff.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment, preferably in a night team member role.

Your new companyHMP Bristol is a category B adult male prison based in Horfield, Bristol.
Your new roleWorking as a Project Escort (security officer), you will be working alongside the operational security team. You will be responsible for escorting/assisting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison, visitor checks, toolkit checks, main gate duties and vehicle searches. You will assist with the safety of visitors around the site and ensure no unauthorised items enter the site.
This role will require Mon-Fri 8am-4.30/5pm. It is a temporary contract which is a minimum of 3 months on a rolling basis and dependent on how long the project is for and how long the contractors take.

What you'll need to succeed
You will not require previous experience as you will receive full on-the-job training. You will need to be a strong communicator, level-headed and security conscious. You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary.
