A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Tunbury Wells Area!
With no day ever being the same the Logistics Manager role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and train team members
- Manage, control and maintain records of stocks and stock movement.
- Planning the logistics operation for the site
- Manage tendering and contract negotiations with contractors
- Reducing internal & external costs
- Monitoring KPIs - looking into areas to improve and make the site more efficient
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a logistics / manufacturing organisation
- Strong communication experience
- Man management experience
- Strong continuous improvement knowledge
- IT literate
- Experience working with warehouse systems and export requirements
