The Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for motivating, managing and developing a high performing team of sales professionals, driving understanding of relevant policies and guidance and advancing a culture of excellence.  The ABM will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of 9-12 representatives within the area assigned, sales performance of the business portfolio of products, and business knowledge of the area landscape to assess key stakeholders plus future trends within the business marketplace. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• The ABM is responsible for supervising operations of the District to include hiring, coaching, representative development, performance management, and manages 9-12 Neuroscience Health and Science Professionals (HSP).

Role Summary

Pfizer’s Machine Learning Hub is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced machine learning researcher to design and implement new machine learning tools to accelerate drug discovery. As a member of our Machine Learning Research team, you will design new approaches to derive insights from Pfizer’s proprietary data and external datasets to generate testable hypotheses across the drug discovery continuum with a focus on extracting biological knowledge. The individual will also design, establish, and manage internal and external collaborations to advance Pfizer’s ML capabilities. The ideal candidate should have an outstanding scientific reputation in the field of machine learning research for computational biology and a demonstrated passion for solving biological problems relevant to drug discovery. Role Responsibilities

Principal downstream application domains include indication expansion, target identification, disease mechanism elucidation, and partnering with practitioners in these areas to advance the state-of-the-art.

• Development and implementation of advanced machine learning models specifically designed for analyzing heterogeneous biological data. This includes data from genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other biological sources.
• Advance the internal machine learning tech stack to cope with spurious correlation, obscuring variation and inherent multimodality of biomedical, chemical, and ‘omics data

• Hands-on experience in handling, processing, integrating, and analyzing large heterogenous biological data sets related to industrial drug discovery research (e.g., sc/snRNAseq, ATAC-seq, genomics, proteomics, etc.)
• Proven expertise in developing machine learning for computational biology

The Pfizer Connect Health & Science Representative (PCHR) is responsible to increase product awareness, educate customers and attain the goals of their Business Unit through fully remote / virtual customer interactions. The PCHR is charged with relationship development and promotional efforts with U.S. customers and accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience; OR Six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent

The Role

As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time researchers capturing data that supports CoStar Group products.  CoStar Group researchers collect data, research, and imagery on assigned commercial properties to capture the features and highlights of each building.  CoStar Group customers rely on our team to offer content that drives real estate transactions.  As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that researchers are always meeting both production and quality standards.  Meeting deadlines for our internal clients is a critical part of your responsibilities.  Working in the field with each of your researchers throughout the month to ensure best practices are implemented and provide coaching and mentoring is required. This role will be based in market.

Responsibilities:

• Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 8-10 professional field researchers.
• Daily review of the team’s production measured against KPI metrics.
• Spend quality time in the field with local and regional team members to demonstrate best practice with data collection, time management and overall efficiency.
• Review incoming data and imagery to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines.
• Provide constructive and actionable feedback to team members to meet both production and quality expectations.
• Create action plans to help team members grow, succeed, and maintain their engagement.
• Professional and effective communication with employees and internal partners to meet company objectives.
• Frequent travel within your region, and some travel to the Richmond, VA office is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
• 3-5 years’ direct operations management of 6+ employees, virtual management a plus
• Leadership and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and control the workload of a team, coaching, and mentoring through professional development.
• Experience with creating and managing effective KPIs, along with meeting performance metrics and being results-oriented.

• The annual base salary for this position ranges from $71,700 to $180,200. In addition, this position offers an additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus. A Senior Principal Scientist in Analytical Research and Development plays an important role during all phases of pharmaceutical development. The qualified candidate will take an active role by leading the analytical development strategies and performing and directing lab work for new drug candidates. The candidate will work with cross-functional development teams and apply a variety of analytical methodologies to support physical and chemical characterization of drug substances and products. The candidate should be proficient with a breadth of analytical methodologies (e.g. chromatography, mass spectrometry, dissolution, spectroscopy, and NMR), with expertise in one or more techniques.  The candidate should also be proficient with a wide variety of software and information systems and have a demonstrated ability to learn new techniques and solve complex analytical problems. Experience with mathematical modeling or coding is also desired.

How You Will Achieve It  

•  As a project analyst, the candidate will be responsible for developing analytical strategies in support of pharmaceutical drug products during all development phases, including supporting manufacturing process development, developing, validating and transferring analytical methods, designing stability studies to understand drug degradation mechanisms and for shelf life assignments, and developing impurity control strategies.

• The candidate will perform lab work and will plan, direct, and review the lab work of other scientists in a matrix environment.

• The role requires collaboration with colleagues to identify appropriate analytical approaches, including use of computational predictive tools, modeling software and data visualization tools where appropriate.

• The candidate will critically review and Interpret scientific data to derive clear conclusions and provide direction for future work and will communicate results and conclusions through various media including presentations and technical reports.

• As a subject matter expert, the candidate will evaluate new approaches, instrumentation or analytical technologies and mentor other scientists.

• The candidate will author relevant sections of the quality modules of regulatory submissions.

Qualifications  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry or related field, with 7+ years of pharmaceutical R&D experience required or Masters in Analytical Chemistry or related field, with 10+ years of pharma R &D experience required.

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including visualization of data, presentations and authoring technical articles.

• Demonstrated ability to meet timelines and interact with multi-disciplinary teams

• Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques and solve complex analytical problems.

• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are required.

• Proficient with a wide variety of software and information systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry or related field, with 7+ years of pharmaceutical R&D experience required

• Working knowledge and the ability to operate analytical techniques such as HPLC-MS, GC-MS, spectroscopy, and physical techniques such as particle size and dissolution that are commonly used for the characterization of pharmaceutical substances and products is desired.
